That's just brilliant, Lee! 😃 And you can use it even without a flight controller!!! Fantastic! 😃 Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊 And happy holidays!
If you really want full controll over the LEDs you could use a microcontroller. But for under 10 pounds with built in PWM control these things are awesome.
COB LEDs are the best - I've got them on on the outside of the arms of several quads. Anyone who sees them tends to go "Oooh look at that!" rather than "Grrr, who's spying on my dog?!?" :)
Hi Lee, Great info on your leds. I just installed leds on my Source one 7in. But it's hooked up to the battery. To have it on a switch would be fun. Thanks again for the video.
The Emax tinyhawk 2 had them on each duct which got brighter as you increased the throttle and that was years ago and could be turned off if you wanted too.
Brilliant idea, not only for slaving to the throttle of jet-like ones: I do a lot of STOL FPV approaches in the dusk, so I'll slave a couple of those strips to my flaps. Perfect!
I love the flaps idea! I always have a hard time telling if the flaps are down or not, especially after a couple of go-around. I wonder if I could just use a spliter cable...
with INAV7's timer change feature, allowing you to use different timer modes across the FC. couldnt you just have one of the timers be set to MOTORS and have the LED change with the throttle position? im buying these either way so i will test that out.
Surprised that the current draw can be handled on a pwm output . Most of all didn't expect you to get giddy over the Millennium Falcon . Lol shame what happened to those movies. Lucas was a genius, fairy tale in space, with a musical score for each character, after seeing the movie one might close their eyes play the sound track and envision the entire movie. I saw it the week end it opened and was a fan .... worried I wouldn't live long enough to see the rest of the story ....then disappointed ., as it came out in Disney vision ....laughed at your falcon remarks and look at me. .lol . MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU .
I'm old enough to have seen the original trilogy at the cinema as a kid in '77 onwards. The original was seen jn a little cinema in belgium, blew my little mind!. I visited 'Galaxy's edge' in Disney Studios in Florida and was so disappointed. I could go on at length about how they did Luke Skywalkers' character wrong in the last 3 films, but Mark Hamell did a far more eloquent job. Jedis don't quit. Love Ep. 4,5 and 6. I like parts of 1, 2 and 3. 7 was a rehash, and 8 and 9 were complete car wrecks... see, I got a little started! HAN SHOT FIRST, May the force be with you, always....
Love it, the child in us never leaves and goes to show it's the simple things in life that makes a man happy lol.
Absolutely!!
Looks fantastic and a good explanation of the programming sir! Keep up the good work and happy holidays!

2:41 Love that face! 😄
2:45 - thats a very happy face :)
Thanks, Lee. Those look great.

Thanks Lee, just ordered some 😁
Thanks for the great tip Lee.
👍
Love it Lee!! Looks like mine are also going to get some illumination!!

I’m about to order some right away!! Thanks!! 🎉
Looks Great

Great stuff thanks!
Does look great, very sci-fi. 👍🏻
Would be good for an afterburner on a edf
That would be a perfect use for them! Happy flying!

Let me know. I wanted a medium glow that was there even on low throttle when armed, so a curve did that for me... Happy flying
I hadn't really looked for it in iNav, is there an controller for addressable RGB lights?
Yep. I've made videos on it... Happy flying
