I'm glad this clip was posted. I never would have found the full (5 hour, 4yr old) interview with the family. This is an infuriating story.
Thank God Eddie was found innocent, especially after the all-out lie about his alleged crime.
@@yukey2587Throughout the Department of Defense, there are countless stories of leaders abusing their power, making life difficult for those they dislike. It’s disheartening when you hear phrases from JAGs, 'they don't like you' or 'that person is liked,' knowing it's just an excuse. At times, it makes you question what you signed up for, especially when you thought everyone was on the same team. However, it's reassuring to know that sometimes things do turn out well in the end. Good for him. It could have turned out so differently.

As a 26-year military veteran I can tell you, unequivocally, there are those in military service who are petty, vicious, jealous, ambitious, and downright sadistic, who will play politics with anyone they view as a threat to their ambitions. The majority of our military community are solid; however, those demented few who play by different rules are dangerous as hell!

Most service members I have met are stand up people. But the most unethical, cowardly little worm I have ever met served too. The good ones are great. The bad ones make a meth head look like Santa Claus with a PHD.
The use of tactical teams by the various police agencies is completely out of hand. Someone like this Seal could have easily been served a notice to appear by a single uniformed officer and I am certain that he would have shown up at the appointed time with his lawyer. This behaviour was disgusting.
That’s more of the Feds problem and small municipalities that want to show off. A lot of full times teams in major cities and counties are solid guys that know not to unnecessarily intimidate and scare innocent children. A good example I heard was from a Dallas guy who said they switched to surround and callouts almost exclusively unless dealing with a hostage rescue or active shooter. Whereas whenever they’d work with the Feds. They’d always tried to talk them into dangerous 0530 raids that scare the fuck out of people and cause way more problems than solutions.
But then they don't get to play billy badass. They get-off on playing billy badass. They fancy themselves to be tier 1 operators. But they didn't wanna freeze their nuts off in the Coronado Island surf and do the hard work to earn it. So instead they dress-up and play pretend. And as the saying goes... "when you're a hammer, everything is a nail".

A guy I know who’s currently on a SWAT team in a major county went up for BUD/S (failed), passed Navy combat dive school and then went to SWAT school for LE told me that SWAT school is extremely difficult. They definitely don’t “play pretend.” Now if you’re talking about NCIS dudes (or other alphabet agencies), like what’s talked about in the video, then you have a point but don’t make any mistake, if there’s a guy on a full time SWAT team in a big city or county, he’s a badass and definitely earned his spot. It’s easy to make assumptions from behind a keyboard.
The cops want to see if they can win a fight with a warfighter. It's a big dick contest. Hence the movie RAMBO. It never changes.

What he is accused of happened on deployment overseas, any "evidence" would have already been in custody. So, this raid was pure harassment. Maybe they were hoping to make him mad enough to do something violent. Disgusting!
that's exactly what it was...why they targetted his kids in the process. so he'd respond, and then they could have their " got 'em " moment...that's why that agent when he was leaving casually threw out the " I seen your wife. " comment.

Yea, and some of that evidence included texts he sent to someone back home bragging about what he did to that Taliban fighter shortly after doing it.
That and other evidence never saw the light of day during the trial because the Navy didn't want Gallagher found guilty, they just wanted the whole thing to go away because if Gallagher would have been found guilty investigative journalists would have had a feeding frenzy looking into plenty of crimes committed by Seals.
The Seals have a serious culture problem, and I'm not talking about what went on overseas with enemy fighters, there's plenty of crimes committed by Seals here in the states that were kept as hush hush as possible, an ex Seal and his girlfriend going on a killing spree down east coast beach towns befriending and killing couples along the way, two Seals who killed a girl in the parking lot of a bar in Virginia Beach, and that just scratches the surface, crimes committed by Seals within the military are off the charts including those Seals that killed that Green Beret in Africa.
Navy Seals is a brand name, and like any big corporation the Navy protects that brand name image as best as they can.
Anyone who thinks that the truth came out over Gallagher's trial needs to remember OJ Simpson, yea, that's right, just because a verdict says one thing doesn't mean that justice was served.
What Gallagher did to that Taliban fighter us nothing compared to the rest of his history, nothing, try looking into it including watching the podcast on The Teamhouse channel where they interview that investigative journalist that looked into Gallagher and his history.
Gallagher gets to go around now telling his "oh poor me" story for the rest of his life, but so what, so did OJ.
I am not a "war fighter" but I been battling all my life, my honor is worth more then anything and this would have went a different way. I am glad he held his cool cause I know I would have walked into their trap and it would have been a cnn headline.

For those of you that are unfamiliar, his name is Eddie Gallagher. He was a Navy SEAL. While on a mission, I believe in Iraq, several subordinates that did not like him made an allegation against him that he had mistreated and murdered a wounded prisoner who was an ISIS member. The whole story was BS and he was eventually exonerated, but the Navy treated him horribly and ruined his life. I believe he wrote a book about the ordeal if you're interested.
he bragged about committing a war crime. took photos, and sent text messages saying "i got him with my knife"....

Years later, and the best justice Eddie got was not losing his trident, his pension/rank, and that took president trump stepping in more than once.
Only after the people who did this to Eddie see the inside of a prison cell will his family get justice.
I am familiar with Chief Gallagher's story. It is a disgrace what the Navy put him and his family through. It's even sadder that former Navy Seal Dan Crenshaw stabbed Gallagher in the back by lying about trying to help him. These NCIS agents have further deteriorated the LEO communities reputation. I hope the new SEC DEF addresses these agents and Kash Patel will hopefully address the FBI guy. Their actions are disgusting. Our country was and is fortunate to have Gallagher and men like him to preserve our Republic. I am a retired veteran and currently a police chief in rural Tennessee. I am very passionate about my statements.
Trump's administration is not joking around. I hope everyone who put Eddie through all this are held accountable. This happened in the first place because the agencies had always been complacent. This culture has to change!
The SEAL team is not what it used to be. They have been infiltrated with poseurs. I knew one of the original members, back before it even had a name, then the Underwater Dive Team, later Seals. He was a man of strength and honor, would be ashamed of this degraded bunch of liars.

Oviedo, FL Police did the SAME THING to my kids in 2014. Because a VA Employee, falsely reported to 9-11 that I was barricaded in my house with multiple AR's, and I was holding my kids hostage. I was at the grocery store picking up lunch for my kids. It was a "wellness check", that led to me being put in handcuffs and taken to a holding facility after being lied to about taking me to a PTSD clinic. I was refused a WRIT of HABEUS CORPUS, refused. And forced to sign an NDA stating that I'd never been there. The Congressman John Mica is who got me out of the holding facility, they tried to hold me for 72 hours. The reason she called 911, I told her I was bringing a Congressman up to the VA office to find out why after I was med-boarded that I lost my house, my VA loan and wasn't even PAID for 4 years after being med-boarded. Obama and Bank of America STOLE MY HOME. I was let out of the ARMY, and not paid. I am now 100% Disabled VA....but my rating was NOT retroactive. My family has suffered greatly. OBAMA policies almost killed my kids. The "BAKER ACT" is EVIL.

What makes me sad is people like this young man, a guy with a family who defended all of our families, is essentially crucified, his belongings seized, his wife and kids terrorized with guns…by agents of our government…and assclowns like Dan Crenshaw are honored and lauded. Walking proof of the need make changes in leadership in the Navy/JSOC, as well as FBI/NCIS. The need for vigilance in our officer corps and nco corps remains. Respect costs nothing, and not enough men stood with Gallagher.
this kind of behaviour in the military or law enforcement is nothing new. It has never been dealt with,ever. Won't get any better in the future if it isn't stopped. I have zero confidence that it will be dealt with. I am prior, my father retired, both brothers served 😔 Beyond disgusting

There's an old saying "We've met the enemy and it is us!" I had an fbi agent demanding I make a statement against a fellow employee when I had no direct knowledge of the issue - only rumors. I refused and he was pounding his fist on the table saying "You're part of our team you have to help us". I said "I will not make a false statement and you now better than doing this!" and that was it. Never heard any more about it. This was over 10 years ago so you can bet it's been going on for a very long time. President Trump's initiatives are spot on!

I'm not surprised you had that kind of an experience with NCIS. I was a Military Police Investigator (MPI) in the army and MPI and CID used to joke about the clowns in NCIS. Once, I went on leave for ten days so I could assist my sister, a civilian lawyer, with a case involving a Navy guy who'd been charged by NCIS and the Newport, RI P.D. with a slew of charges. Enough to put him away for more than 100 years if he were convicted of everything and the judge gave him the max on every offense. I was working for the defense. I encountered all kind of resistance from both NCIS and the Newport P.D. while I was there. They didn't want me looking at what kind of investigation they'd conducted. Bottom line, 8 days after my arrival when they went before a judge in a pre-trial hearing, my sister laid out all of the ridiculous amateur mistakes both agencies had made handling evidence and how they'd questioned the subject, asking him incriminating questions without advising him of his rights. In the end, the judge threw out everything but a simple possession charge that had been added after he was apprehended and the joint had been found on him. A charge they didn't require any statements for and the only charge with a solid chain of custody on the evidence. The guy subsequently pleaded guilty to the possession, after they made a deal for no more than 2-1/2 years, he was sentenced to ten years to serve 2-1/2. NCIS, the most unprofessional and incompetent bunch of "agents" I ever met in more than 14 years as an investigator.
As ex-military myself I'd like to thank you for your service and all you did for our great country!

Agreed. fines are just not a deterrence in the US. The Court system is Rubbish (come on everyone knows that) so you need minimum penalties that deter this from happening again. Life in prison as a minimum should be on the table. My view is they should be tried for worse.

Thank you for putting this on the net for all to see! It's so important because we CAN do something when we know what is actually happening. Sharing this with as many people as possible to have as many people with various skills and resources can deal with these abuses of power.
The SWAT team was looking for my brother years ago and still treated us better than that. They saw my nephew and put their guns down. Hearing how they treated his son is heartbreaking.
At least they didn't raid the house to conduct a hit like the ATF did to Bryan Malinowski in 2024.
No body cams on any LEOs there, local nor federal.
Warrant issued was a search warrant, not an arrest, yet the ATF gathered and then dispersed when they realized the guy was out of town the week prior.
Raided the house just after 6am (kinda strange to serve a search warrant without sunlight).
They walked up and taped the ring camera to obscure vision (again, search warrant for THINGS, not arrest warrant; and the guy worked at an airport, not a criminal with a violent background) and then rammed into the house AND shot Bryan in the head within a minute.
They waited 28 seconds before deciding to ram the door, and then killed Bryan when he shot at the home invaders (ATF).
So this is all roses compared to that.
LEOs are really good at being bad at being bad recently.

Something very similar happened to me while attending CCAC. For those not in the know, the government only accepts 30 applicants every 3 years. It’s intense and I made it through.
To any of you thinking of signing up, this is how our country thanks it's Veterans. The guys who lied on Eddie Gallagher were cowards who didn't want to risk getting hurt, Gallagher called them on being cowards. The Woke Admirals in charge, got embarrassed by the Trump admin for doing this to one of their own. My ex girlfriend Red Flagged me here in NJ and I got raided in the same fashion. They got me for "High Capacity" magazines and also told all the neighbors I was making pipe bombs etc with 0 evidence. I had my son there as well and he had to watch me handcuffed in the back of a police car for 5 hours while they searched the house. They even dumped all of my separate ammo out of my cans and into 1 large pile onto the floor. Disgusting how they conducted themselves. They also tried calling me an "Extremist" cause i had vacuum sealed pails of rice. DISGUSTING! thankyou for your service!!!!

Those who perpetuated this issue are within our ranks and within the command of it as well. I would think that overall security and integrity of seal units would be paramount over anything else!? Apparently, those who are participating in this have no shame. Never should NCIS be allowed to hurt one of our own. Unit integrity was lost. Get off the news and start acting like an elite fighting unit again, unless you care not about Navy Seal Legacy. Remember, Unity means protecting each other! 50 years ago this never would've happened. The Navy would've found a way to handle it before forcing a member to go to the media for the protection that they should've gotten from their own!! This proves that parts of our military has lost it's way. Which means that Command has also faltered in practicing the most basic principles!

Served 8 years active duty in the USN. The top brass will one hundred percent scape goat a junior enlisted to save their own ass and career. And all enlisted are Junior to the lowest grade officer with zero experience.

I was 5yrs old, home alone with my dad. This was back in 76. My dad had a 30.06 hunting rifle, they knew he had. The police raided my house, blew every window and door in at the same time. When the police brought me outside, they had my mom on the asphalt with a shot gun to the back of her head.
In police custody, I was standing as a neighbor had their two kids walk up and grab my hand to walk away with them. Basically, kid napped me while in police custody.
My dad went to prison, while my mom was able to get all her charges dropped in a plea deal, because the police didn't know where I was. To keep my mother from suing the police they dropped all her charges.
Years later I look back, I replay that day in my head..It's crazy how your memory holds onto things...
