When I sew the front cover, the one that says “Critter Count” on the front and has all the number 1-10 on the back, to the page that has 1 bear and 10 woodland friends on it, do I also put batting on the later page, or do I just put batting on the front and back cover page? Also, do I put batting on every page?
You can put batting anywhere you would like to, but my preference is so there is only one layer of batting for each page. I found it to be a little thick when it was two layers. Using a layer of pre-washed flannel also works! --teresa
I would like to know if you lengthen the stitch length when you sew in the middle of the book because the many layers make it very thick. Also, if you could make an item with this Crinkle Material, it would be interesting to see how you use it. There isn’t any tutorial on this. I love your tutorials. Have a great day! 🌸🌸
Hello, I was in the fabric store yesterday looking for ' woodland critters" theme fabric. My peer at work is having a baby shower and this is her theme. I want to make a quilt, bib and burp cloth. I found this cuddle fabric and it is absolutely stunning. I have never made a quilt using cuddle/minky fabric so I was searching you tube and came across your video. Do you have any thoughts on how I might convert this to a baby blanket? Thank you,
You can find a pattern for using the panel to create a quilt on our website! It's the third project in this pattern: www.shannonfabrics.com/download_patterns/ReadToMeForest.pdf
Do you add the 3 inches of the Crinkle fabric on top of the batting - or - do you insert the Crinkle between the Cuddle and the batting? Does it matter? Also, do you add it to each page?
Thank you. That answered a lot of questions. Great job!!!
Thanks a million! 🌸🌸
Thank you for a very good tutorial! I just made this book using your guidance and it turned out so darned cute!
Super cute!!

Some panel book pages come fairly Crooked, did you have to do any straightening to them? TIA
This was very helpful ;)
