What a sweet fabric book to make to introduce sensory perception/understanding & comfort to a baby and older. Love the yellow "fur" for the chick. You gave us another transferrable concept in showing how you left that extra fabric around the ears before sewing the two layers together 1/4 inch away from the edge of pieces - SUCH a great tip. I needed all the other instructions as well - especially the reminder to keep the pages in correct order. Were I the proprietor of a fabric/craft/quilt shop store and carried this line, I'd certainly also have a handout with a reference to this YT video to give the customers. Their customers would be so grateful. Then again, after seeing the video, they'd come back to the shop and ask if they also had the pattern, fabric, & video of the blouse you're wearing - well, at least I would.
Wow! How great they look! Thanks a million Laura! 🌸🌸 I’m making one right now and the tip that you gave about cutting around the shapes AFTER they are sewn is very precious.
This is amazing... I dont know if I ever really going to make 1 out of my brain, but your video has made it look possible.. all this time it just seems like grand ideas to me.. thank you 💙💙💙
I gave a book to my grandson. You took this to a whole dimension above, lol. Love them. I might get some for my 2 great nephews to make. have some fun fabric. Thanks for sharing.
These are wonderful. I love the fact that you used different fabrics to enhance the tactile part of the books. That is so important for children. Good job and thanks for sharing.
