I’m in the Cleveland Ohio area. I figured out it can keep the Jeep relatively warm in about 40F and higher. I plan on getting a 150watt heater to help next winter. Some people online have wired 150watt harbor freight ones into the window 20amp circuits in the center console.
I am doing a heater core replacement on my 04 Jeep Liberty. Just started the adventure, so yeah. Great idea with the electric heater! This may help, face the heater towards the recirculation door, usually in the floor board area, passenger side. This should circulate through the vents, when on that control setting. The 04 only does this on A/C. Hope this helps.
