- CSX Train Approaching The Wye At The Interchange. Norfolk Southern Train Hit The Railroad Crossing With Wabash Railroad Heritage Unit Leading! Train Knocks Down The Signal & 2 Trains Passing Next To The Abandoned Paper Mill Buildings. 5 Trains In Hamilton, Ohio + The Live Action Pets And The Slide Show From This Video. Which Train Is Your Favorite And What Did You Think Of Me Chasing The Train To The Crossing? Hamilton Depot Update Included.
It's difficult catching a train on the Indy Sub since they only run a handful a day across the line. I heard that train on my scanner and decided to try to film it. I almost waited too long. By the time I decided to give it a try the train was coming over the river and towards the crossings. Luckily I was the first car in line and caught it entering the CSX Cincinnati Sub where the train station used to be.
We take a quick look at the station at its new location but nothing much has changed. The next train is a Norfolk Southern empty gondola train with the Wabash Unit leading. That was a good one! I had a heads up on that one from the local railfans.
Then we see a CSX auto racks train knock down the signal. That just means the signal drops from green to red as the train passes it. That train is northbound and has some interesting graffiti. I put a couple of them in the slide show at the end.
Next we see a HUGE CSX intermodal train running southbound. As it is crossing the railroad crossing another train passes it in the opposite direction. That train was a Norfolk Southern grain train heading to the New Castle Sub on its way to Indiana. That was awesome standing next to two trains passing! A non Railfan decided to drive the wrong way on a one way street to avoid the train. Lol. This is actually Part 2.
Don't miss the special outro with the Live Action Pets and the slide show from this video!
Filmed Friday, May 31, 2024 in 1080p with 60fps. Thanks for watching!

You came out victorious, friend.🚂👍🏼🔝✔️🤝🏼🫶🏼
another great video from the best youtuber in the business jawtooth
Wow, thanks!
So often when you're there numerous trains converge at once. The train you were trying to follow had plenty of coil cars and also all those nice & new UTLX tank cars. It was good to see the all Gondola train again it had been a while. For the Wabash unit while not as glamorous as the old Red Ball freights it will settle for being the Potentate of Hauling Freight. That one gondola that looked like concrete may actually be loose chunks of stone. Summer brings out numerous major projects on lakes and rivers where cities or the Army Corps of Engineering work on erosion control or improved breakwaters and use this to help control the water's erosion effects. Here's to a couple cool days and we'll see how we fare on the 4th
Thanks for watching!
LOVE that horn on the Wabash Heritage unit !
Rooster-free morning. Great trains had you hopping! Thanks, Jaw Tooth.
You bet!

Good job getting to that crossing just as the engine crossed ! I always enjoy going back to Hamilton in your videos. Someday I will get there myself.
Thank you very much!
Amazing videos Jaw Tooth keep up the good work
I truly love that CSX
Marvelous Train Viewing Awesome 😎💯😎😎
Liked the Wabash heritage! Nice train on Indy sub.
Great train action and a front row seat 😅. Cool video Jawtooth. 👍❤️
Hey JT. Just me and my cat watching the train 🚂 go by.
Great day on the rails. Thanks JT
You bet
That was a great catch of the CSX train on the CSX Indianapolis Subdivision, Jaw Tooth! You managed to get at the road crossing about the same time the train hit the crossing. The other trains that you saw at Hamilton, Ohio were interesting to watch. When the last two trains met, the double stack train ended quickly and allowed us to see most of the grain train going in the opposite direction. The City of Hamilton, Ohio is moving very slowly to rehabilitate the train station. I wonder why more effort is not being put into rehabilitating the train station.
I saw the Wabash heritage unit on the New Castle District in May 2020 and saw it pass the Ohio Railway Museum on June 30, 2024 southbound on the Sandusky District.
This is another awesome Sunday morning with a lot of great
train action going on in Ohio, live action pets playing in the yard
and great slide shows thanks Jaw Tooth.🇺🇸🚂🚃🚃🚃🚃🇺🇸
Jt great vidio as usual . I see alot of GP40 s mixed in with bigger six axle power . Here in Cleveland we had twp sd 40 s dash three s but they are gone . Now we have gp40 s again . These are yard units . Love those heritage unis .

Good timing to get the heritage unit! Great live action on the rails that day! We made it to Ohio this weekend. I was able to go to Fostoria and watch some live action. Thanks for the videos.
Very cool!
Well, another great video JT and you caught a bunch of trains up there in Hamilton, but anyway, my friend you try to stay cool out there and get a hat to put on top of that ball head lol that would help you but anyway, my friend as always you stay safe out there and watch your back and we’ll see you on the next one
Another great video in Hamilton. Thanks JT.

Always great stuff, seems the CANAS tag is some Micah Hawaii? Your commentary is some of the best. Keep them coming JT!
You got it!
Wow! Excellent catching all the trains in Hamilton, Ohio, I like them, they're awesome, I already uploaded 2 videos; the first one has the FXE4081, in both short and long video, and the other one that has the NS 171 with 5 Heritage Units, also in both short and long video, @JawTooth, Brian, thank you very much and have a nice day.
Thanks! You too!
@@JawTooth You're very welcome, Brian.
Hey JawTooth
Great video as always 👍👍👍👍
Hey, thanks!
I'm late to the show. Thumbs up. Was at Laurel River Lake this weekend. I did spot the leading locomotives and about a dozen grain cars in Paris,Ky. of a SB Grain train on the CC Sub on the way home today.
Wonderful share Jawtooth My man! Awesome!
Thanks for coming
Another good catch keep em coming as you always do thank you
Action on NS and CSX, nice catch on Wabash EMD!🛤🚂
Saw the Wabash Heritage unit leading a coal train on the CN Fulton Sub which runs by my house north of Memphis TN 15 years ago. Was in Memphis on home rails some 10 years ago.
Saw this one already and love it. So cool.❤😊 Thanks.😊
You're welcome 😊
Just saw the Wabash two days ago, leading NS 154 through Gaffney, South Carolina, headed north.
Two trains at the same time that was awesome!
Thank you very much!
Your videos are always awesome! Thanks!
Thanks!
Check out how uncommonly clean and shiny those CSX Locos were!!!
Apart from being such great footage of trains as always, my Mom, and I love the dogs at the end of the video! 😀

Thanks 😁
That was a great video! Hamilton never disappoints. That first train was a monster. You got lucky on that and the 1 car rule didn't bite you. Traffic lights are crazy here, can't go anywhere without going thru a bunch of them🤬Thanks for the video Brian stay well roll on
Glad you enjoyed it! Nothing worse than getting stuck at a light when a train is coming. Lol. Thanks for the gas money Mark! I am just now getting ready to head out towards Iowa. I have been on the fence about it the whole time because of the long drive but I think I'm going to. I want to get that Canadian Pacific steam train. I'm not planning on posting anything tomorrow unless I don't make it to Iowa and turn around. Anyway, thanks again for your support!
@JawTooth your welcome, Brian! Good luck on your journey. Be safe. I don't care for long drives either. The thought of breaking down scares the hell out of me. I've been thinking about driving down to Lakeland and seeing some trains. Just a thought
Incredible video Mr jawttoth my dad will watch it he said he’s a big fan of your new videos
Hi Jaw & it's is Randy and i like yours video is Cool & Thanks Jaw & Friends Randy
😅thx for the nice video Brian. greetings from Tony and me.🍐🤣
🖐
Dad got us a Lionel train set when we were growing up... and put it on a 4x8 so we could screw in into place... then when we had christmas dinner for everybody we just turned the whole thing upside down and ate our dinner. That is where my interest in trains originated... but layed low until I found Jaw Tooth... now I found out an antique dealer had $250 on just the engine... i never knew it was a top of the like train set... and I can't thank him because he is gone. oh well... he could see we were happy with it though.
Way to run that train down champ!
Love you
love you too son!
I see local trains from time to time here in Wyoming, Michigan and I always wave at them... they wave back too... i think they are waiting for another train to pass them.
You never fail to entertain us JT. Great video. Love those heritage units. I didn't know intermodals could move so slow...
Thanks for watching!
Live action from the Batmobile!
Thanks for watching 😊
Great video
Thanks!
Good morning Brian
Good seeing you.
Stay safely blessed
Nice Wabash catch.
Canas means white or grey hair in Spanish or Portuguese.
Now if you interpret the two sides of the A's into a V is a html programing turm that instructs to add art work to a website. Hummm👍
Good catch Jaw!
Still like the train videos, keep makin em and I'll keep watchin em.
I have tons of them right now that I am working on
Every time I see a long double stacked intermodal I wonder what our interstates would look like if all of those were on the highway...I-75 would be a parking lot!
Merci beaucoup pour cette très belle vidéo ! 🌟👍🙏
Good shots! Currently in Nebraska, and I hope to go railfaning there. Congrats on getting the Wabash also!
You should!
Five trains in a day. Nice. I've a single commuter line behind me. However, up to the 40's, they ran small commuter steam locomotives. That would have been fun to see. For trains like this, I'd have to drive to Allentown, PA.,
Very cool!
Great catches awesome capture and nice video
Huge hugs brother
thanks!
A heritage unit. Meets That video had it all Awesome video
Trains to the left of me, trains to the right here I am stuck in the middle with you, stuck in the middle with you😮 Mr. 🦷

Good Morning Brian & Crew...
Morning!
AWESOME!🌍💯👌
Thank you! Cheers!
Sweet!
An other GREAT video.
Have you ever seen the Hamilton PD go after a car going the wrong way on the street next to the tracks? Also, I recently watched your video taken in Portsmith, Ohio. The "strange looking towers" were for air sampling. Portsmith was the size of a nuclear weapon plant during the 1950 to mid 1980. It separated U 235 from U 238. The U 235 is what the government wanted for weapons. There was a similar operation in Paducah Kentucky and Oakridge TN. For more info, Wikipedia has a couple of very informative articles on this subject.
that sounds interesting. I bet that is what the place on the hill behind Lucasville is. I drove up there once and saw all the sidings running around. The place looked pretty official and I looked around and got out quickly lol
TTX should hire the graffiti artists to paint murals on their auto racks.
