YES Finally. This is everything Hybrids should have been since, like, the 90's. Especially if it is properly tuned to transition from electric to turbo to essentially erase turbo lag. Hybrids should have been the high-performance option from the very beginning. I imagine this can zip right past any cars of similar max HP number.
Do something like this with a truck and a larger engine, and it would be a good era for trucks until battery tech can catch up for towing.
