I was in a masterclass with him when I was a student in Germany. It was so inspiring. Every note changes when he demonstrates it - he brings the music to life.
I love how in under half an hour he massively improves on their interpretation, which was a bit stale. This is what I love about his quartet, he seems to squeeze every single character and colour out of a passage, contrast and exaggerate them, without being vulgar or comedic, that's why his Beethoven and Bartok are unmatched!

The pianist, Melita Kolin, as well as playing marvelously, looks so gorgeous in this video! I had never heard of her before but sadly am finding it very difficulty to find pictures and other recordings of her.
