Thanks man. I recently started working at sheetz gas station and while working the register come to find odd legal tender. I got a well battered 1963 red seal 2$ bill today and your video was most informative. Thank you.
Nice information. Mine are definitely regular Uncirculated, but don't plan on getting them graded to see if they are higher than 63 for my 63 and 65 for my 63A. Those $2 Legal Tender or United States Notes are amongst my favorite small size notes. Just think they missed an opportunity to make them even greater by keeping the Series 1928 going to the G, instead of making a Series 1934 with a stunning red 2 similar to the stunning blue 1, 5, and 10 on the Series 1934 Silver Certificates.
Yeah, it's just a random thought, especially considering that on large size Legal Tender notes, they often had a large red Arabic or Roman numeral like on the Bison note and the Poker Chip note.
I caught this one late, Christian... I had a few errands to run, and made sure to grab a couple rolls of coins while I was out. I have several of these $2 bills, and 3 are Star Notes. There's one ( I don't know if it has a higher value ) with the serial # of * 53274816. It's clean bill, except that it has fold in the middle, so I leave it in a book. Anyway... Thanks, for doing this video, and as always... Have a good one.
I wish this video showed where the "missing back plate number" should be. Cant tell if mine has 9ne because I dont know where it is. Thanks for the vid though

Cool yeah I was working Texaco and a guy spent a 1928 on gas.Decent shape.I still have it.Sleeved up of course.
Christian I was under the impression that the red 2 dls bill was only 8 dls . That was an eye opener . Keep up the good work. God bless y'all.
For sure - there are some better ones!
Very nice, I have a couple that I'm planning on sending in for grading lol but thank you for sharing as always great video enjoyed it 😀
Whoa! Hopefully they knock it out of the park. Have to do pretty well to make it worth it.
@@TreasureTownCoins yeah I'm hoping they are really nice notes and a couple that I have are also conservative numbers 😉
How did that go for you? @lewisoverfield5294

Super interesting perspective on the 1928G vs a 1934 with the red 2. Hadn't thought about that but I think I agree. Thanks for watching!

Sorry... I forgot... there's an 'A' at the end of the S.#.
I call that a scrambled large straight note. They call it full broken ladder bc it's not in order.
