To me, Bishop has always been a "means justifies the end" type of character. Also: where the hell is Phantomex? He chose to stay in the Vault.
Fantomex stayed in World not the vault.

@@thekellyeloshow Secret Wars II, Mutant Massacre, Fall of the Mutants, Outback X-men, Inferno, Atlantis Attacks, Days of Future Present and Apocalypse Now all happened in the years between baby Cable debut and him getting infected with T/O virus That life event even got referenced during Cable & Deadpool, Askani"son Messiah Complex and Second Coming. That's an awful lot of continuity to skip on for anyone to think Cable was born with virus!
This story has taken us on a different direction that I expected. I like the focus and am curious about how it’s outcome is going to impact everything else. Thanks for covering this.
When you think about the fact that everyone has the option to be resurrected with or without certain conditions that accrued over time, it makes you want to know WHY certain mutants don’t just request to have those specific conditions undone since their powers are growing stronger every time they resurrect. We know why cable and cyclops chose to keep their handicaps, and we know why Cerebellum wanted to not just be a brain in a floating jar anymore. So why does Karma still have that damn leg? Or why does Hellion still have his disembodied hands?
The same reason Wiz-Kid keeps his chair, it's part of their identities 🤷🏿♂️

@@danielneverlosesI get it with wiz kid and cyclops, but for them it’s been a lifelong kind of thing. Whereas with the other two, it was still fairly recent in comic book universe time
You also have to die, some mutants would rather not have to be killed to fix things they don't feel limited by.
I've wondered that myself. Btw- have we seen Hellion during the Krakoa era? I can't remember and I really like this character.

At least Bishop and Cable save Darwin some time to change the Vault, following Mother’s death, before the Children return.
I don't think they made the wrong choice. Deal with the immediate threat & figure out the Dominion next.
What happened to Darwin? Wasnt he still in the Vault? And if the Children's plan had ran its course they still wouldve lost most of humanity even if they had a way of going up against the Dominion
They better bring salt and pepper back! For more then just a miniseries!
Only downside to this ending is it didnt involve any closure for Synch or the older Laura. Seems off that they basically lived for for years fighting the Children of the Vault and then they have nothing to do with their eventual demise. And still no mention of Darwin. Felt like Marvel sorta forgot about that storyline or some new authors werent interested in it.
tbf it's not like they've been destroyed. they're only retreating back to the vault

Bishop didn't just try to kill baby Hope during Messiah Trilogy- he killed millions of innocents pursuing her across the timestream too
young cable that got caught during hellfire gala is a separate one I believe since the old cable says he got caught while piloting his ship. but I guess its still possible there was miscommunication going on with how cable was caught and which version was doing which.
All those black ops missions professor X and Magneto sent the X-Men on to destroy the Orchis forge and all it took was a suicide bomber…..come on mane!
Word that was a waste. Hopefully it’s just a major setback and Mothermold will show up in the final fight against the phalanx 🤔
That's the sad part when you think about it. They literally should have done that in the first place. Remember how Magneto and Xavier sent mystique to mistake to kill the scientists before they made Nimrod. Imagine if they did that 2 hours before they were gonna turn on Nimrod. They never would have had a problem with orchids.
There's no reason for the mutant to kiss the ring because Bishop in cable manipulated Them into destroy the forge That made sentinels.
Imagine reading history and reading how you did this and that. Then traveling to what could be an alternate future. That’s crazy in itself!!!
I like that Seraphina is getting a character arc for once.
I wish they would have listened to Serafina just to hear what she saw. I think that was very important information….that has went down the drain.

I think the teen cable and classic cable are two different characters displaced from time.
Bidhop is grom a timeline where sll muntats are either dead or locked in cages. What would you do to avoid that future???
If I had access to time travel- I still wouldn't kill a baby and millions of others for something she may never do- and in fact didn't do in pretty much every timeline.

The destruction of the Orchis Forge was a big W but as a whole the ending was dark. 13:03 - Maybe Orchis had both Cables.
I'm sure they caught both young and old Cable at different points in the story, and we are yet to get the follow-up to where basic-package-Cable is. I don't recall the specific comic, but I think they specifically said they had to take him alive otherwise it would impact that timeline he was on and a different one would respond to his absence or some such effect on his older self.

Bishop is an authoritarian zealot and completely in favour of police state type regimes
This all seemed like a waste. Some characters of the Children like Serafina were seemingly starting to come around with acting as heroes and helping people and such, and it seemed like some of them could have actually turned and changed into real heroes, joining with the X-Men and the Avengers, on some Thunderbolts stuff. Instead, it was regressive, making the Children of the Vault enemies again.

One just wanted to take it over by force by kicking out of the door and the other one wanted to be very nice and slowly Be nice and put them in a false sense of security before they die.

How come Orchis are allowed to use the Mark IV Sentinels? They are the mass produced versions of Sentinels that was created and owned by Sebastian Shaw and Shaw industries- the same Sebastian Shaw that got an invite to their segregation island so mutants could be safe (from people who never actually hurt them) by living with mutant mass killers like Sinister, Apocalypse, Bishop and Exodus! Does this means Shaw industries have been working with Orchis the whole time? Or does it mean Shaw industries could sue Orchis into oblivion for theft of proprietary technology? Or is it just another plot hole??

People forget that Bishop wanted to see Hope in the dirt is because she was a Hitler level butcher in his time. He wasn't crazy and he was still acting as a hero trying to stop an evil before it does what he knew it to do. I really don't like the Hope character.
Bishop also nuked entire innocent populations into oblivion in his pursuit of Hope too. Infanticide against a innocent newborn baby for something she hasn't done yet and never did in most timelines
So they (the writers) forgot all about Darwin
