- Today, we are challenging ourselves while surf fishing to eat everything we catch. Every single fish we catch (as long as it’s legal) will be cooked up and eaten today with my family. We have been camping on this beach for a few days now and we’re HUNGRY! My mom is sick of PB&J sandwiches. We need meat. Time to harvest off the land and let our fishing skills sustain us! Get ready for an EPIC day.

Seeing all your fishing/camping adventures on the beach makes me sad I never tried that when I was younger. Too old for it now. The gear available now looks amazing. Would love to fish with you and your dad sometime. Regret my dad and I didn't fish more before he got to handicapped to go and now I have the handicaps. Thank you so much for sharing your adventures.

I know how you feel friend but never set limits for yourself. I'm working on multiple language fluency so I can start a travel channel featuring my GSDs and I visiting natural and ancient wonders of the world. Along the way I want to try local Delicacies, fish local waters and see local martial arts; this would combine all of my hobbies. On top of that I'm a trivia buff so I want to add that layer of interest

The best thing out of all of this is making memories with your mother and father and your wife that's the most beautiful and most precious thing you're doing in life right now because there's nothing better than being with your mom's and pops and your wife and camping like that and eating from the sea it's something that's so much love and what you guys are doing God bless you and your family and may God bless all of you who are struggling and homeless because of covid-19

We went smelt fishing and ate the fish live - not all of course! But, bite on the stomach first and spit it out as the entrails are bitter. Without the entrails, you can eat the whole fish and they are sweet. The Filipino “ceviche” is called “kinilaw.” Pretty much what you did but we add vinegar and chili peppers to how much spicy you want it. Soy sauce is optional.

White bait fritters yum. Just mix an egg with the bait and then fry them like an omelette. The best.

Around St Augustine the kids use the Skate wings for shark bait. Just for the big sharks, nothing under six feet. We used be upset catching skates; now they sight fish for them. You guys rock!

To be honest seeing you cook and catch with your family makes me want to grow your lifestyle into my passion in the future, so thanks and I am thinking of trying sawiche for the first time as raw fish isn't eaten in the country and I am currently in but we have a lot of trevally and bubber lip snappers here

Great family video. I miss the outer banks. I live a little further south now at Oak Island, NC. Fishing here isn't bad but its not Hatteras. All of those dishes look amazing. I would probably enjoy the bluefish salad or the Spanish the most but who knows. I've never shied away from much when it comes to food. I love your channel. I look forward to your videos.

I would go for all of them, and may even try to make some of that bluefish salad next time I go out! I would say though to try skate next time as its really good stuff! You can fry it up, or even cut out the wing cartilage and skin and make a skate taco shell thing. You can stuff it with other seafood, stuffing, or maybe even that bluefish salad and eat it. I love stuffing them with Italian cheeses and crab myself. You can always go the cut rounds out of them and cry them up like scallops too.
