Watching that clear water, flowing sea grass, fresh scallops ceviche and wholesome good times with the family is refreshing in all the ways.

FYI, Scallop Season in Florida runs from Mid June through the end of September in specific zones, with limits on individual and boat. Florida Scallops live about 1 year

Loved this episode and all the catch and cooks.
It’s good to know where you food comes from. In a lot of cases especially here in Hawaii “fresh” just means never frozen. The fish can be 2 weeks old but still is considered “fresh”. The majority the high quality fish are shipped off or go to the nice restaurants. But a lot of times the fish tastes better a day or two after being caught.

OMG!! something other than a gummy lollie on a hook haha... great to do something for the 1st time, water clarity was amazing. We never ever rinse seafood, fish in fresh water, if you have to use sea water. Great content, always cool to be out with whanau. Nga mihi
