Yet airlines would have bought FROM Boeing, 3 x 757 for every 1 x 767, 787 combined. As a BRIT, European and Airbus supporter Boeing throw away its baby with its 757. FOOLS!
They secured an exception from the FAA to keep building 767 only in freighter form and only for domestic flights. The aircraft does not meet the CO2 and noise emissions standards anymore. While there are some good reasons behind the exception, this is practicalIy a dead platform with reduced operational and sale value due to the restrictions. The production will stop by 2033.
The US Air Force, like all US Forces, isn't included in CO2 emission reduction targets, thus the KC-46 is still built. The exception for the freighters is on a national level, which often is enough for the operators but obviously limits the flexibility of the platform. It's like the newer COMAC planes, which are only certified in China themselves (so far).
inflation and cost of living have shot through the roof, don't blame the workers. While executive pay with workers pay gap continues to be a huge gulf. its modern day slavery
Merry Christmas DJ. 🎉Thank you for all the effort in going the extra mile throughout the year to promptly bringing us airline news update without delay. I will look forward to continue watching your channel in the coming New Year. Keep up the great work. 👍🏻 From your fan, Alex in U.S.
While that's true, it's a little early for Airbus to become complacent. Things like that shouldn't happen. Btw., everything is fine with Boeing, keep doing what you are doing and the solution for the whole situation will come in by itself. ...one way or the other. 😉
Wow Boeing is again building 767s 🎉
They never stopped outside of the strike period. Of course, it's not the passenger version, but it's still being made.
Freight - well thought of and popular
@ I know freight and tanker is in production for a years to come. Tanker for sure but that’s not what the kid was referring too. He mentioned 787!

@@trevorhart545I believe the accountants made the decision. No sales, no future production ... even if a favored plane.
Merry Christmas Daniel. Thanks for DJ's Aviation
Wait, the 767 is still being produced?
Freighter inly
@@IPutFilesInDriveAnd the USAF KC-46 tanker.

Merry Christmas DJ and all watching
Will be the greatest turnaround of a company in history
Let's hope!
You forget the 1970s when someone indeed turned off the lights in Seattle. Recovering from THAT was monumental
If they can pull it off.....the jury is still out on that case.....and judging by the last few year, the odds aren't looking good.
The 777X thrust link correction so far nothing new.
Boeing still had a lot of proving to do.
Merry xmas dj to you and family ! Luv the programmme
Boeing just needs to stay alive, safety first… competition makes aviation better.
And deliveries to Ethiopian Airlines of their newest 777-300ER
A company depending on production.... 🤔😱
I'd really like the expertise of a high end consultant on this one 👻

Still not convinced about Boeings planes
@@gingin21jr why not
For boeing, desperate times call for desperate measures. Desperation leads to more failures. Not impressed.
Desperation leading to more failures. I'm not impressed airbus delivered a faulty aircraft to Malaysia airlines.
@@nickolliver3021No doubt you will be bringing this up for months to come Nick....but as the season of goodwill to all have a great Christmas.
Not 1st
Breaking news. BOEING make crap aircraft.
SO does airbus. How is that Malaysian a330neo hanging in with faults already 😅
Don't fly on one then.
@nickolliver3021 Agree for once but sure problem will be resolved very quickly and not drag on for year's
@r12004rewy of course you wouldn't say 'drag on for years'. The flipping plane was delivered not 100%. Bad quality on the airlines behalf
