Im convinced the Boston 12 is the best running shoe ever created, its not even close for me. It does everything excellent and on top of that its extremely durable.

Heck yes, I was hoping you'd do a video on this after you mentioned the wet foot test on Strava and in another video. Thanks!
To answer your question, I know I'm going to be buying a new pair of runners in 2-3 months anyway, so I'm always looking for value for money.
I have a question too: How many KMs do you run before you replace them? Do you just replace them when they look bad? Or when Strava says it's time for a new pair? Or do you just transition them from your main pair after X KMs to exclusive use for low-risk runs (such as recovery runs)?

Hi Adam, thanks for the question, personally, I buy a new pair of shoes when I start to feel the cussioning going and my legs or ankles get a little sore when they usually should not. From there, I use the old shoes on Fire Roads (as it is soft and the terain changes a lot) so that I can get another 2 - 3 months out of the shoe while I am using the new pair on the road. Road or Pavement running will tend to wear out your shoe faster as it is a constant pounding in the one position of the shoe where as fire trails/roads you are constantly changing your foot placement to miss the rocks and sort.
Most of my shoes will last about 2 - 3 months or around 700 - 1000km before i retire them to the fire trail. After the fire trail they go in the bin. Also, I only have 2 pairs of shoes that I train in and I have one pair set aside for racing in.
      I hope this helps.
