Murkomen speaking like an idiot, a novice, and an alien. Action speaks louder than words. He doesn't need to come and address Kenyans like a form four candidate answering some geography questions. Name 4 causes of traffic jam on Nairobi - Nakuru highway. 1. Kenyans this.... 2. Kenyans that.... 3. Vehicles this... Etc.
"The traffic gridlock along the Nairobi-Nakuru highway is a living nightmare, a daily torment for countless Kenyans. It is utterly unacceptable that the roads intended to connect and empower the people have become a symbol of inefficiency, frustration, and lost time. This gridlock is not just an inconvenience; it is an assault on productivity, on the economy, and on the dignity of every individual who suffers through it. The people of Kenya deserve better. The roads of this nation should be pathways of opportunity, not endless stretches of frustration. It is time for swift and decisive action. The government must prioritize infrastructure development with urgency and precision. No more excuses, no more delays. The people have spoken, and their demands for functional, reliable roads must be met immediately. We will not stand by while the potential of this great nation is held hostage by a traffic nightmare." 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟💫
Easy Coach and Guardian management need to rethink their CBD station. Mud, congestion and askaris make it impossible to be dropped off or picked up in the station, which is a nightmare when one has heavy luggage, is travelling with young children, is unwell / has reduced mobility etc. Surely customers deserve better.
As long as the laws of the roads are controlled by TOA KITU KIDOGO there is no solution to such jams. PSV's violate the laws and the private cars follow suit. A few notes lets them go and continue with the violations. Once corruption is rooted out from the highways and the city roads sense will prevail on ALL roads.
How can we talk about the same thing year in year out for decades….. especially the Nairobi Naivasha Nakuru, Nairobi Mai Mahiu routes…. What a country….
I guess there are business people who create that jam deliberate so that they can sell to the trapped motorists it doesn't seem to me like something which just happens
The impunity practised by Kenyans driving on the roads is the cause for a lot of these mishaps. The Govt., Police and Courts have clearly got to make it painful for Kenyans to misbehave on the roads in order to bring some sanity to the industry. On a daily basis, we see Ma3s and Boda Bodas flout all sorts of traffic rules, and now other motorists are following suit. Govt. can talk softly, but need to wield the big stick
The problem is that when people buy cars they still use the same route matatu used to ferry them because it's the only route they know. There are so many roads to get to Nakuru from Nairobi without using NRB-NKR instead of spending the night in one place.
People should rethink about this manner of commercialized travels and expenditure. The CS knows nothing and cares nothing of what's happening on the ground juu ni mtu wa chopper like his master.
