Ventilated seats are actually not that rare. They literally were an option from 98-10 on the og 9-5.
Non sports seats in black and beige leather could be vented, as an option. They were offered from 98-01 as a standalone option and as part of the pilot package.
From 02-05 the sports seat could be ventilated as an option. The colors were black, beige, grey and the super cool beige/black.
From 06-10 it was the sports seats as well now in Black or White. Unlike most other leather seats from 06-10 they were single color w/o inlays.
Also he's wrong about no other 9-5 using the 9-3 "Viggen" seats. Very early aero's have the the them as well but they are full leather. Very similar to the seats the 01-03 og 9-3 Aero got. I have never seen them in a Swedish car but in multiple German 9-5's. But they are pretty damn rare.
Also talking of extremely rare seats, I have even seen a 9-5 with Hirsch seats. But those seats aren't using the 9-3 "Viggen" base, but they are just regular non sports seats. So Hirsch seats with the non sports seat base. link.mobile.de/dQkRn1KCuCJKMhLR9

Fact is, that this shape of seats has never been standard on any 9-5 . Therefore he is right, that they never have been in a 9-5 from factory. Yeah, they are similar to the 9-3 OG Aero seats and similar to the Viggen seats, but none of those you could get with seat cooling ! That’s what makes them so rare , especially in that condition where they haven’t turned from grey to dark black dirty …

They are Hirsch only seats, carbon door trill, carbon door sills with the TrollR embossed on the carbon door still and the ventilation option on hirsch seats are very rare most were only heated even some had the perforation leather ( with holes in it) to look vented but they were and very rare only a hand full of black leather Hirsch seats with red strut hung.
Hirsch Shot gun dual exhaust is a very vary option only available for 2003-2005 most I’ve seen have a different exhaust tip and single muffler also.
Some of the 2006-2009 Saab 9-5 had a different style dual exhaust but I prefer this shotgun tip!
The 19 inch 3 spoke wheels are an amazing Addition! 🎉 🦌
Hirsch made a spectacular looking body kit and mesh 3 part front grill!

The Troll-R. The car that used up Saab's entire supply of spare B235 crate engines at the time. The engines kept blowing up, and because the Hirsch stuff was covered under Saab Warranty the engines had to be replaced. In the dealership where i worked some customers had to wait 8 months to get replacement engines. The torque curve in the engine map is just far too harsh for the B235 engine.

If driven with bad maintenance and without brain then yes - otherwise No 😂

@@herrmann1423 They were blowing up when they were brand new. Nothing to do with maintenance. Im an ex SAAB Master Tech so i was the one changing the engines. I actually remember we had one customer that asked many times for a regular Aero ECU to be fitted to downgrade the power as he didnt want it blowing up again. They did it in the end for free.

@@dj_paultuk7052 if you have been a mastertec, why not a bit more corporate identity? Yes - we know the B235R isn’t strong as B234 or a masterpiece, but I know several Aeros who did more then 300.000km on the first engine . Especially models from 2004 could achieve that mileage . I always say, it can break at 100km or 1000000km and with 100hp or 1000hp. Still, other brands have way worse engines, so stop bullying negative shit only mate …
