Kensington 120W Laptop Charger Conversion to Adjustable Bench Power Supply 0-24 VDC, 0-6 Amps

This video instruction is intended for those who already have some practical knowledge of electronic projects and schematics. It is not suited for beginners. I made it as a personal favor for a friend overseas. However, it contains sufficient video info for anyone in the world familiar with electronics to build this project. The output Voltage, as well as the current limit, in these particular power supplies is controlled by the value of resistors encased in different plugs for different laptops. The ranges of Voltage and current start from zero - according to the description on the label, which makes it possible to turn this unit into a very useful variable bench power supply. The laptop cable is about 8 feet long. I cut it in half, and used the other half for another unit that I had without the laptop cable.
