I have to admit, when Terrell Bernard took over Tremaine Edmunds roll at MLB, I wasn't a fan of the idea, because I'm not a fan of small hybrid linebackers, Matt Milano, he's a different beast, and he's bigger than Bernard, and he's 1 of the best LB's in the league, regardless of his size, but Bernard, he definitely won me over, he's done more for our defense in 2 seasons, than Edmunds did in 5 seasons, he's a baller, sometimes he gets washed out in run plays, but overall, he's solid. 💯

They did their job holding Baltimore to only 15 points the entire second half and maintaining their lead. Old Bill's D would have given up 20 points a half forcing Allen and the offense to score 40+ to win.
The Bills run game is the best they have had in the last 4 years, Cook, Davis, and Johnson work great together, also Allen only runs when he needs to, not like in the past seasons
Absolutely amazing breakdown. I have been saying all week that Terrell Bernard punching that ball out was one of the most gutsy split-second decisions I've ever seen in a football game. It was absolutely the right choice, though. With all of the other bills defenders in the area, he's realistically risking an extra 2 or 3 yards (at most) for the payoff of getting a big time turnover.

Tbf Lamar just Dropped the football..Hamlin did a gj wrapping him up but nothing really forced a fumble there besides the elements. Everyone screaming for a dome in buffalo. Plays like that are why not having a dome is nice 😂
The only exception I take to the standard analysis of that play is that Lamar "did too much". Lamar and Allen have both spent a career making that unblocked rusher miss. Lamar isn't Lamar if he drops down and gives up at the sight of an unblocked rusher. IMO, that was not about Lamar trying to do too much, it was about Damar making an excellent grab and not getting his ankles broken. Granted after that Lamar just loses his grip on the ball and drops it, but yeah, that fumble was more to do with Damar's great play, less about Lamar playing hero ball.
@@RageDaug I mean when ur ankles wrapped n a dlinemen is about to hit you that might be one of the few times you should just take the sack..especially considering the 7-7 score n that ur in FG range already. Was wondering the same thing too. From a certain angle, it seemed obvious he would pull from how far back his stance was. But then I started second guessing that maybe it seemed that way to me because I knew already from the earlier clip.
Congrats to Bills. And…what a horrible freaking decision by Mark Andrews after that catch. No body around him up the field, take a step or two toward end zone, fall down or get hit, whatever. Don’t decide to run parallel into Bernard and then try to make a move backwards. That was such a huge momentum change. (Even if he got hit and fumbled as he headed up field that would be less horrendous than what he actually did!) Not saying Ravens would have definitely won, if not for that fumble. There was still a lot of football to be played, but that was a big positive for Bills and crushing for Ravens. Again, congratulations Bills, now go take care of business against Chiefs. ~~~~~also, consider a squib kick at end of game to kill the clock…you know…just in case.

first clip you show in the first 8 seconds will highlight how the bills do this 66 the center gets away with offensive holding to allow the RB a gaps for a small gain. This will be a common theme if you look at the plays. The bills for the last few seasons have been heavily favored by the Ref and are not called on plays any where near as much as they should be. at 32 seconds again 66 is holding as is the tackle to the left on screen this is what allows the gap, not hold and the play is blown up in the back field no td. 3rd play talking about Tampa 2 coverage ther are 3 holds on the bills oline at 2:04 ravens 99 has out side leverage on his man with out the hold there it a free path to hit JA before he can get the play away. The bills are a very poor team helped by a lot of very bad reffing.
