Really nice video. It all seems so easy when a skilled person do it. I realise I really need to just practice the modelling part like crazy, until “all” shortcuts just are at my fingertips at all times.
On all shapes/objects your cursor & origin must be in one place. Shift S - cursor to selected, if some objects have 3d cursor in their own center first change it to the center of circle ( shift s) then go to top menu - object - origin to 3d cursor, in this here instance ALL CURSORS/ORIGINS MUST BE IN THE CENTER OF EXTRUDED CIRCLE (empty cursor, circle cursor and rectangle cursor(on which you apply array modifier) must be ALL IN ONE PLACE!!!). Thus the order of operations is important!
it didn't work out for me as well, I'm talking about the Boolean of the other side but when I flipped the normals, it worked. And PXXO, thanks a lot for great tuts, they're really useful, so
Thnx bruh you are a life saver, I had an assignment from my school in which I had to make exact same watch. Your video helped me a lot.thnx again ❤

Welcome to the Blender Community!
At 22:40 you probably need to recalc the normals for the bool to work.

deja vu
I tried the reference file but all I got were purple squares around the cube in the middle and no watch pictures
9:49 ctrl + made a zoom it did not select the area as it shown
