What an awesome place for kids to grow up! As a kid, I loved hiking the area around our house, exploring the outdoors. I don't think 51K is bad for 3 acres considering it's 20 minutes from town! You go girl!!
How many square feet do you have and if you eventually wanted to frame out the shower would you have to get a permit for that? 3 township's away they have micro tiny houses only 4 exist it almost looks like their sleeping in the connected garage have a feeling they were built for the miners which are closed now, some manufacture's homes with lots of land I defiantly couldn't stay here the Mayor wants everything commercial!
Total respect. What a price. She is in total control of her life. Great place and all that land. A $300 a month mortgage is affordable. Better than renting a piece of land.
She's awesome and her children are blessed to have her and be able to live a life full of adventures! She seems very well versed about building tiny! Good for her, she's such an inspiration ❤ Great video once again❤
What a hard worker she is! She's very competent in so many ways and I know she will be just fine because she is living well within her means! I'm guessing her next tiny house will have indoor facilities. For me, I would need to use a little extra wood to build some privacy around the shower and a true outhouse, as well. 😂 Best wishes to her as she continues to live and think outside of the box! ❤
I think I would have tried to put in an indoor bathroom as thier is enough room for a small one, or at least a outhouse. love the trampoline and kitchen area , storage . Murphy beds would be cool. But that is me .
This is exactly the kind of land I'd LOVE to find! Beautiful property! Amazing build, so frugal! Don't know about the outside bathroom "facilities", but to each their own.
I agree, if it was warm year around, i could maybe handle it.. nope, no way i could handle going out in the cold. The kids are young tho and so is she, maybe as she gets older she'll add on..i imagine kids will want their own spaces too. I love it tho and you can't compete with living out in nature..and wow that Ikea kitchen is awesome!!

Great land, but I think it would have been better to build an in-door bathroom. What do you do when it's cold or snowing? Great land buy! Beautiful attitude!
What a beautiful home you have built ~ and you are giving your boys the BEST life ever!! Do you really go to the bathroom outside in the winter?? Oh my goodness, dont you freeze to the seat? Enjoy every moment of every day. Sending you light, love, peace, joy and abundance always! I love you.
Wow, this is awesome build…For 25k it’s really impressive…Thank you for showing us your house! Great job on building it…Blessings to you and your family 😊
PS I’d make a sandbag cement wall (mail Crete) wall just above your place in awe of an absolute down pour or snowfall it will divert away from the house
bravo!!! i personally love the open home less hassle to find things. I want to turn my home into a duplex for several reasons. But lach the resources curently. So happy to see it done by someone. Love your backflip.
Your place is beautiful and cozy..your land is spectacular! You should be proud of all you have accomplished. Forgive me but the mother in me is concerned that there is no railing or barrier to your sleeping loft. I would be terrified that one of the kids could roll off the edge in their sleep. Doesn’t that concern you?
Exactly...definitely need some type of railing/barrier....you can get a couple of two by fours or slabs of wood. Better to be safe than sorry later. Kids can be playing and accidentally slip.
Beautiful home well organized love it. I am watching all tiny home to try to find a design that fits me. So I'll take designs here and there and put together what I like
Thanks for sharing, you’ve set up a smart, great home for you and your kids. The net is fantastic! If you wanted to give a front to your wardrobe some curtain brackets and sheer curtain cover clutter, softens the space but is still easy access or can be left open too. For the shoes you could also have affordable trays that sit on the floor and effectively slide out like drawers- a little easier than reaching under. …and the term ‘go ham sauce’ made me chuckle!
I admire her gumption, bravery, and optimism. Really liked the kitchen set up. However, I do not understand why she would put a toilet, (and shower), outside. If you have to go in the middle of a rainstorm, (or snowstorm), are you really gonna go out and sit on the John? I don't get it. She could've easily framed something out in the home since she was building from scratch. Or at the very least build an outhouse and enclose the outdoor shower. Makes no sense.
You started out decent and I wonder at the need to find some fault.....her choices Makes no sense....TO YOU! I am always so amazed how others have such strong opinions on others choices of lifestyle....just cuz you wouldnt live like this does NOT Invalidate someone else making the choices that work for them! It's just so small minded....and sad....really sad! Even if you think it, no need to share it unless your thinking others will agree with you ?? There are plenty that do....but I think Bambi says it best.....if you can't say nothing nice say nothing at all!! This young lady is an inspiration and she is living her life and creating a home that SHE likes....she did not invite any of us to live there with her (and it's kinda obvious why!) I lived in a van for 2 years (because I wanted to travel and say goodbye to family/friends before I moved internationally) I learned that the things we assume are necessities are actual luxuries and living abroad I now know this is true! I used a jug to pee in and bags to poop in, if I wasn't outside and could create my own toilet! And you know what? It was the best thing I did! Running water IS a luxury and each luxury you pay for either monetarily or with your ignorance and/or arrogance towards others .... I hope you don't just instantly get triggered and angry but maybe hear that your way or even the majority of your societies ways are the ONLy way or even the best way.....open your mind! It's an amazing world out there and you could expand and learn so much if you choose to be receptive.... But I know. I'm on the web/UA-cam and it's easy to judge and criticize from behind a screen... Good luck to you.
I didn’t hear a mention of heating the house when it’s cold ? I also agree an inside bathroom upgrade would help. Also a second loft will be necessary later kids grow fast. What I find amazing is all that she accomplished on her own. I cant put together furniture from ikea.
I can't move it, at her age I probably could but I had to find an Animal friendly apartment & the 3rd floor was the only one 18yrs, ago and I can no longer do 39 stairs up and down with groceries😢
