It’s weird how you can write something down or say it out loud and it makes your mountains look like molehills. I’m having a mild panic attack rn and this helped a lot. 😁

I don’t have full on panic attacks that often, but sometimes I just get a pit in my stomach and my brain just gets filled with scary stuff. And even if I’ve distracted myself and I’m not thinking of anything in particular I can just feel this darkness and fear and that’s what I’ve been feeling lately. And it just helps to hear someone who has felt anxiety and knows kind of what I’m feeling ❤️ thank you

i hope everyone reading this is doing well. as someone who was diagnosed with panic disorder, it DOES get better. having panic attacks can fade. i’m now a 911 dispatcher, something i never thought i could do because of my history with mental health. but i’m doing it! i want you to know you can do anything too. you are not your mental health, it’s just something you struggle with and that’s okay. i hope you’re comfy, cozy, and know that you ARE safe. you’re gonna have an amazing year ❤️

during second period earlier this morning, i had a sudden urge to leave the room because i felt like my throat was closing. i felt like i was gonna die and my foot started bouncing. i felt like if my foot stopped bouncing i would’ve gotten nauseas. i was afraid to leave the class because i thought my teacher would’ve embarrassed me. my heart was racing so fast i felt like i was gonna have a heart attack. i started sweating and i felt like throwing up. i sat there for around 15-20 minutes looking down as i was sweating and my foot was still bouncing. i left class a few minutes early with my friend and got a drink of water. i felt better and the same thing happened during 6th period. i’ve never wanted to cry more.

Just wanted to add on a personal note that you do not even know how calming it is when you mention that you aren't going to have a heart attack or die from this. That is 90% of what I think when I'm having a panic attack. Having panic disorder and hypochondria/health anxiety is truly hell. I'm so sure that I'm on the verge of a heart attack every time and it's so hard to shake that fear alone.

I have panic disorder . but haven't had an attack in a long time . tonight I had way to much medicine with caffeine in it & it triggered a panic attack . I was literally running around, while calling poison control . she told me I wasn't at an overdose amount & I needed to just relax & ride it out . & this video was everything I needed . I ended up laughing because everything you said was everything I was thinking . "I'm going to die" " I'm going to pass out & no one will know" "I'm going blind" etc ...
thank you Karuna . I'm here w my daughter but feel safe now because of you !

I was high when i first watched this video, too high. I started greening out which caused a panic attack. I was home alone thinking i was going to die. I really felt like i was about to. Which made it worst, obviously. I couldn't find my inhaler and the tears were fogging my vision. I couldnt tell anyone i was high, so i felt like i had no one to ask for help.
I grabbed my phone and typed in panic attack help. And your video was a random one i picked. I started listening to your voice. I started calming down, which was a miracle. And after rewatching it dozens of times. I fell asleep and woke up hours later to your video on my screen. So thank you for helping me.

I have gotten through a lot this year. I thought I was dying from heart problems, but in reality I was becoming a hypochondriac and giving myself heart palpitations, aches, and pains in my chest area from anxiety. It took me a while to realize that, and even though i still sometimes get those aches and pains still, I always remind myself that it is anxiety and I will overcome it. I'm glad that even through all of the horrible struggles that I went through in 2020 when it came to mental health that I had the courage and strength to pull myself out of it. but I cant take all of the credit, because asmr creators like Karuna helped me tremendously to help me get to sleep at night, to help me forget that I thought I had a heart problem just for a second. So from the bottom of me beating and healthy heart, thank you. and if anyone is going through something similar, please know you will get through this. you may not believe it, and you may not believe this message is for you, but it is. let what your going through be a time of growth, learn from this situation that you are going through. the more you learn from your struggles, the better you will handle a similar situation in the future

Had a terrifying panic attack, kept getting worse for two hours. Pushed away all the stress and anxiety all day long, then it came crushing down on me. When i have an attack i dont think i will die, i always fear i'm going insane, like completely losing my mind in this tornado of negativity and fear. Couldn't breath, chest aching, heart racing, stomach in a knot, overwhelmed with everything. So glad i found this video. You took the worst edge of immediately just by acknowledging me, by making me feel real and not lonely, had me feeling like myself again halfway through and calmed me further down till the end. Thank you so much, i wish you nothing but the best and that you too have found an anchor when the panic waves hit

My anxiety gives me heart problems. It becomes more then just palpitations. I get literal heart, chest, and left arm pain. It really sucks. I'm only 17, and I used drugs before just for fun, and one really bad trip screwed me up. I've been dealing with it since january 2020, and I think I've gotten better, but I just wish I could be normal again and not have to worry about this anymore. I guess I always have had anxiety and didnt know it, but the weed I smoked that night just amplified it

to anyone reading this, getting up and walking around helps me SOOOO much bc it’s a distraction. sitting still is impossible so moving helps an incredible amount. also shaking out your hands as if they’re wet helps me for some reason as well (everyone’s different). but i’m in a 12 hour car ride right now so i can’t just get up and walk around. you are an AMAZING person for making this video and have probably helped thousands of people, me being one of them. someone on tiktok recommended this to me nd i’m so thankful. my friends and family don’t know what to do when i panic so they start panicking making things worse. but you did all the right things here. i wish you the best in life for being an amazing person. thank you🤍

I swear you're magic. I've been having a low-grade anxiety attack that was verging into a panic attack and none of the ASMR videos calm me down like YOU do. I think you have a very special energy. I don't know how to otherwise describe it.

The worst about panic attacks is, that they appear out of the nowhere. And most likely they feel quite overwhelming and scary. Breathing feels harder and it feels like being light-headed. The worst part about it is, I mostly experience the attacks at night, before falling asleep.

And thank you, Karuna, your vids are so helpful. 🧡

I have watched many different panic attack videos and this one is the only one that successfully stops my heart from racing. The breathing technique and the tapping in the back when counting is genius. Thank you so much!
