I was crying before I watched this, stopped crying for a minute, then at the very beginning when she started talking and everything I immediately started crying again. Just not used to being asked these questions or getting this kind of attention. I love this and it actually helped me feel a little better from what’s been going on ❤️
the other day, i was having a hard time..hurting a lot.. and i was at school at lunch, and i was sitting alone and someone that i dont know walked up to me and asked me if i was okay. it made me feel a little better knowing that some cared. thank you, to the student who asked me if i was okay at lunch the other day ☺💓

i looked up the exact same thing, and i started crying when she asked that too ahhaha
So today my dad found out I was crying over exams and pressure, so he told the principal of the school i do my examinations at! And he was like “why is she always crying?”, like I never even cried in front of him! When I asked dad why he told the principal, he said that if I didn’t want people to know, then I shouldn’t have been weak enough to cry... this made me understand why I don’t like to speak about or show my emotions. It’s safer if I just watch a goddamn video in my room to make me feel better

Yes... Very much yes it's so hard to deal with my brother, it's basically physical AND verbal abuse at this point I'm not even 13 yet and I actually want to die right now.
And yes ive talked to my parents about this and they tried to do something about it but it worked for like 3 hours and then didn't work again I'm also a very non confrontational and paranoid person so that's a great trio

I know this is late, but I understand you are going through a very tough time without your father. If i put myself in your shoes, i know it will hurt as much as you are hurt. Be strong, and you are. Because strong people cry. The weaker ones don’t.
It kind of hurts that the only time i have actually been comforted was on videos. I can’t recall any time in my life where someone truly comforted and cared about me. It really makes me sad.

I think I know why we find comfort in strangers, atleast for me, I’m worrying that if I tell people I know, they tell someone and then more and more people know about my insecurities and worries, which isn’t a comfortable thought at all, I don’t know what my friends and family talk about me when I”m not there, but with strangers you can sort of feel comfortable in knowing that these people have no connection to you or your relatives, talking about your feelings have no consequences, mum never understood how I can find comfort in telling strangers how I feel, but just the fact that they’re strangers, makes it all the easier.... for me at least

I broke down crying and said “thank you” out loud when you gave me a hug. I needed one so bad and it made me feel loved, I needed it even if it was artificial it’s been such a long time since I’ve gotten a genuine hug, so I really appreciate this video

Jesus, that made me cry real harder. I’m a huge crybaby (always has been from birth and childhood) and I grew up in family that thinks crying a sign of weakness and would basically shame me for crying. It’s gotten to the point that I would apologize and feel guilty for even crying in front a few people or more. I’ve been depressed recently because of my family and many other things and hearing those words just increase my sobbing because not many people would say that to me

Im here because, I’m scared my dad is going to do something to himself, he’s gets really bad depressed once in a while and I take after him. I’m just scared for him. I’m also here because I’m stressing over school and coming out to my parents. I’m already an emotional person and when ever I start crying I can’t stop until 3-4 hours later. I came here to watch this nearly three years ago after a bad break up and would watch this a lot to cope. I’d never really express the emotions I was feeling in front of my friends or family during the aftermath of it all cause I knew what most of them would tell me. Listening to this and watching this was one of the small things daily that helped me get through it, so I just wanted to come back to say thanks 🙏💕
