Hey thanks for watching and the question. There's a grommet on both sides of the truck where you can run wire and we used the passenger side. I actually had 4x4 Colorado run the wire for me. But it comes under the glove box and then runs under the carpet next to the passenger side console. I then just zip tied the radio bracket to the molle panel next to the passengers knee. I can take the radio out when I don't use it and no one notices the bracket. It's great so far. I just plug everything in, run the cable around the center console for the mic, which has the speaker in it, and set it where the wireless charger is, because I plug my phone in.
On the Tacoma, they come out enough that I can get my toes on them to stand on. I haven't tried to see if they would protect from a door sign. On the Jeep I would say yes there. Thanks for the question and for watching.
How'd you run the antenna into the cab? Also where did you put the radio?

Would those rock rails protect a car door hitting the body? Can’t tell if they protrude far enough.
