It’s a love hate relationship with with finding old things randomly that appear out of the farms past. On the weekend l managed to get my cultivator jammed up with what can best be described as old davenport support springs in the middle of a 30 acre field, nowhere close to the house or even where the old torn down barn once sat. Metal detectors can lead to interesting finds on land you think you know inside out.

You hit on a key point! Sheep are a royal pain to contain as compared to cows!

Hi. Can I ask you what are those black wheel shaped connectors at around time 5:00? I have some other electric fence questions also. Why did you switch from polywire to polyrope? I didn’t hear you mention the reason in the video. Also, is your polyrope 1/4” thick? Did you use polyrope with the stainless steel wires or the aluminum wires and why? I’m currently trying to plot out an electric fence in my yard for a horse and a pony. Thanks!

Zareba T-post gate anchors. I wanted 3/8”, but I screwed up and bought 1/4” and White/black zebra striped is the easiest to see. The roll I bought has tinned copper and stainless steel filaments through it. No reason in particular for my conductor choice other than I wanted Premier1 products. Also, the poly wire was hard to see, always tangling and only had 3 conductors. I think intellirope is a good choice for equine. Thank You for watching 😊
