- Greg gives detailed instructions on how to build your own electric poly rope gates. With a roll of poly rope and Old Ironside gate handles, electric gates are easy to build and very durable for many years to come.
We are sold out of breeding stock but if you are looking for some great sheep & guardian dogs, check out our on-line auction on our website: greenpasturesfarm.net/parasite...
Very nice looking wire work, neat and clean. I have become a big fan of rope gates, economical, and easy to use. Have a wonderful day.
Very nice. I always think it's important to have a good looking fence even if I'm the only one who sees it.
Thanks for the video! I need to get that rope too. I bet it’s easy to put all those posts in with all the rain you all got too. I really love Timeless fence posts too.
That is a great crew/team!!! Love that fence
Love this gate hookup! Answers my questions! I will put this method to use! Thank you Greg! Getting my rotational pinwheel pastures figured out.
“Traffic”. 3 vehicles and a motorcycle. Must be nice!
I have some of those handles. They are good and tough. Rubber handle hasnt crack in the sun like plastic handles sometimes do.
We have a farm we now manage that someone else put in cross fencing with those “other posts” and I hate them too. They do not creat that locking effect in the ground and you can just pull them up by hand. Slowly replacing them with fiberglass or timeless when they fail.
I'd like to do a gate with more lines going to a single post. Just not sure yet how I would wire it up and tie it all together. I have a dog that will jump a short gate so two lines isn't enough.
I make handles from scraps of garden hose.
Yea I just bought a roll 2 weeks ago an paid 180ish up in Macon
I doubt if the price of wire comes down. Good ole inflation is hammering prices on everything you buy.

What is you experience using green treated wooden fence posts? We use mostly that type.
They work fine with good insulators.
You do not have to brace the fiberglass corner post? Is that just for 2 strand fence?
That is correct, if you run 3 wires or more, you need an H brace for your corners.
Do you still sell the fiberglass sucker rods? If not, do you know where to purchase it? Thanks, Greg.
We sell fiberglass corner posts. 2.5” to 3” diameter and 8-9 feet long.
@@gregjudyregenerativerancher thank you!! I will reach out.
How does your fence not ground out if connected to a metal sucker rod?
They are fiberglass sucker rods
A Harley welcome to my world, except they blast off from the stop sign so loud. Not a fan.
Mr Judy I’m wondering where I can find your email please
