Bicycle Tour

Hastings to Chaska, Minnesota
Up very early and into Bloomington, I stop in at the REI before riding out of town. Along the way my bike path becomes water, so much water. Everything gets wet and I limp into town late, finding a baseball field in the dark.

The maintenance station, the trail across the Minnesota River and along past the amusement park and on along the river: I ride there ALL THE TIME!!! The flooded trail was undoubtedly the high water right now on Minnesota River. Would've been interesting to run into you along there.

Naw, front hub completely sealed should be ok... Cleaned and oiled the rohloff shortly after

Hi Derek i havent Seen your kelly kette in a long time what happend to it? iam thinking of buying one for myself or a hobo cooker what your thoughts on that?

Yea loved the Kelly, I think solo stove is also good. Wasn't great in mid winter riding so switched out for small folding fire stove and alcohol stove combo. I think the alcohol/stick stove combo is the best for long term touring

Yea, beavers have given me troubles in the past, I think this was controlled flooding from dam? Not sure tho
