Dear Carney Dirt Bag, a Montreal guy probably 20 years your senior here who has followed since the start. Once made a comment about the "Norco" fork looking a hell of a lot like a Thorn, and yes, you confirmed. You know, I always watch your vids on my phone while doing overnights doing eldercare, and for some reason, the phone thing UA-cam whateverthefrack doesnt seem to allow comments, so this is the first time in ages that I've been able to leave one--just wanted to say that its pretty cool how your editing and music works, the clips continue to work and pretty much capture life on the road. I've toured on and off for about 25 years and its really fun watching these. Family, life, work gets in the way and its been ages since I've done a real trip longer than a week or two, but you do a great job of keeping the chapters interesting. I dont know if people realize the work that goes into editing and all that, but anyway, just wanted to finally be able to put these thoughts down. Oh, and man o man, I've had interesting interactions with folks over the years, but your "Oh, no thanks, I don"t want a ........." really made me laugh. Never had that. Safe riding. That pouring water out of the tent shot was funny, its usually dirt and crap, thats the first time Ive seen water pour out. Neat way to keep track of your memories, I've just got handwritten journals jotted down at the end of the day in the tent, who the hell knows where they are now, in a box buried somewhere. Cheers
Wow thanks man! Glad you're enjoying... Yea is a crazy amount of work but worth it to know a handful of ppl are along for the ride. Hah I'm about ten years into serious touring and only two propositions in that time, you have to be lucky I think... i also spent many years journaling but haven't gone back to read any of them, and also probably couldn't find them if I wanted to. Thanks again, I appreciate the encouragement, and happy riding!
