Great video and really appreciate you stepping in to provide details the AVP seems to not be capable of explaining clearly! I'm still a bit confused about what I would be buying a ticket for. Can you explain what we will get to watch as a spectator, say for example, on Sept. 14 at UCLA. Is it 4 matches? 2 mens, 2 womens? And the same on Sunday Sept 15? Thank you!
Yes it is! Whoever wins will automatically qualify for the AVP league draft, and last chance to rack up points if your team is on the edge to get into the top 8
Correct, per day of competition. So the days last about 4 hours start to finish both Saturday and Sunday. Kinda like an NFL game. There’s half time games and fan interactions as well!
Can you share the Ranking Points awarded in the Heritage Series Tournaments for 1st - 11th place finishes. Thank you so much for the info that you have already shared!!
I think sets to 15 is horrible. Way too short. They ruined volleyball in my opinion years ago when they made it speed scoring specifically for tv. They should go the other way. There is no excitement earning points on missed serves. 🤨
Love your enthusiasm and your calls on court one at the MBO!
Thank you so much!! :) Tune into court 1 for AVP Chicago, I'll meet you there!

I believe it will be a total of 8 matches per day (4 men/4 women). Two days of competition so each City-Team would have played 4 matches each.
The AVP will be releasing more information this coming week!
Great video! Is Chicago the last chance to get points to qualify for the league?
Yes

You can find that on the AVP Instagram!
Has the AVP announced the date and time of the draft and will it be live streamed?
Not yet, they will release that after Chicago (we think).
i feel like i won’t like this setup. but hey, i might just be surprised.
Yes keep us posted on your thoughts after this opening weekend. Dropping a new episode soon 👀
Any Tv broadcasts for this. CW was a flop for Chicago as it seems that a lot of people didnt get it in their area.
The league will be on Ballys the remainder of the season
Mraz Island
Sets to 15 points that's different.
I wonder why they went this way, faster matches?
Yes, definitely different. They want a faster pace high intensity game
