My 5x5 Rust base design is a refreshing and new take on 5x5 bases in Rust. It offers all the standards you'd need for an active wipe in Rust; wide-gaps, multi-tc's, disconnect-able TC's, inner peekdowns, many bedrooms and much more. The best part of this base is that anyone can build it. This base is also the start of me focusing on common footprints for a bit. When it comes to build costs this is pretty much the cheapest you can go if you'd want a defendable group base with wide-gaps, multi-tc's and a good shooting floor. This is the perfect base for your 6 or 10 man, depending on how active you play a wipe.
Key features for this base design: Cheap to build, online raid defense potential, wide-gap shooting floor, high mobility inside of the base, multiple bedrooms, medium group type base, multi-tc, active 6-8-10 man, lots of space, disconnectable tc's.

best base, build it up on rustoria sea long with my small group. We defended 8vs16 people raid! I like this base so much and i will build it again and again!
im stuck on the external TCS part please im not sure how many floors i place
I like this base a lot. Really good peaks and enough space for loot and beds.
The only thing which I need to mention is that this base is not build for the crouch meta (well it can't be build for the crouch meta, because the base was build in march - so it's not really critism).
Don't misunderstand me, I love this base - it's awesome, but if you could build a 5x5 like this base, which is adapted to the crouch meta, then it would be a dream❤

That takes a lot more time for him you can do it but it will be a bit more confusing but you got it
Just finished on a 3x with my quad. Personally third floor room don't make sense you should build it like second floor, not a fan of the outer tc builds and you better know how to do electricity. Video doesn't show wind turbines or compound wall but you should be able to figure that out. All and all 6 out of 10💪🏼

Building this right now on Winterust Main AU 2x. Used to on a 10x server to test it out and defended against a 15v4.
The inner peaks helped us so much.

It seems to me that such a house can simply be fired with missiles from the raid of the wagon, and all the pillars will be both, or can there not be such a problem?

Was just wondering where I should put the main batteries at, I cant find any good spots so i just put them where mixing tables and furnaces were supposed to go
Yo! In the bottom of the inner peekdowns I usually put a battery room in each side. I'm pretty sure its in the video: I do a single door and put the battery behind it. Hope that helps

@@stewie2070 in this big of a base they will pummel opencore rather than going through the bottom, that said once they get in and see those doors then they will hit your batteries but if chinas raiding you then doesnt matter where your batteries are at lol

Twig buildup. you'll have to do twig ceilings and U stairs to go from level to level.

Great base I am using this in my Vanilla and 10X servers. One thing, why can I still get griefed with externals?? Why are they so far away
Only 4 externals. You could add a China wall for 10x to extend tc priv. On vanilla try griefing around your base and maybe add a second compound
It’s literally the compound/china wall then like 2 doors to the 3x3 then however many doors in the 3x3
No one is door raiding this base. You’re dead to turrets instantly. Also your loot is in open core and you have externals

The frames connect them. You have to be careful though

ill give this base a 6/10. My group has built atleast 5 wipes on 2x 3x 5x etc this base is lowkey terrible aganist offline raids, unless you seal it if the server has /remove. But this is one of the best bases and most fun bases againt online raids its op af if your online i 1v5 defended this with no kits very fun and easy. Takes very long to build tho and very expensive for how easy it is to raid.
What's upkeep on main tc for this?
Upkeep is about 22k stone 22k metal 200hqm on just main tc….. it just all depends on what you upgrade and don’t upgrade
