The process appears unrealistically safe, clean and tidy. Congratulations to the engineers that designed the plant and to the operators that maintaining it in pristine condition. A dramatic contrast to some of other videos made in some other countries in which every operation is manual by workers without the minimum of personal protective equipment.
I just came from one of those videos. Reading the patronizing comments: "Wow, so amazing!", I decided to see what a real operation looks like. It took a grand total of about 20 seconds...
THUMBS DOWN for replacing the dialogue and turning this into a stupid music video
Badly edited too. And no discussion of any of the processes being shown.
Music junked another video👎🏻💩
I wish the person that made this film would add an explanation to the presentation. I consider the process interesting but I have more questions than I did.
Exactly. All I see is scraps conveyed around and melted smelted. For instance what controls the percentage of aluminum
looked like scrap aluminum melted first, with pure aluminum ingots added later to improve the mix.
I guess we are left to ascertain the larger details of the process. No explanation of anything. And the music sucked.
Except that bassline in the last song was groovy
heres a link to the exact same video except it is titles Scrap Metal recycling ua-cam.com/video/PvQilLU-CQk/v-deo.html Exact same video 2 different titles also the link is a video from 3 years ago
That's it. Its a knock off of something previously uploaded. I suspected such. But, nevertheless, people like this. Over a million hits in less than 7 weeks.
♪(๑ᴖ◡ᴖ๑)♪ That music had me up out of my chair and dancing. At one point I did a handstand with a scissor kick followed by a hang glide and a baby freeze.
Considering your need for attention, I believe you really did all that...... if someone else was in the room for you to get attention from.
Nice attention-whore comment. You should be a stand-up comedian...... for people in a permanent vegetative state.

There’s no new content at all in this video. It’s just rehashed/restitched together bits from other older rehashed/restitched together videos. C’mon StarTech TV get it together or I’m gonna stop watching!!!

@@williamdougie6213 we should hear the actual sounds of the operation. That's the point. Turning the sound down doesn't actually let us hear that.

melting scrap aluminium at its melting point and pouring in moulds with different shapes and sizes, what else do you need to know?
Seemed self-explanatory to me.
It add any mineral or element with AL during burn??
The only problem are the recycling centers they are buying these plastic bottles and aluminum cans according to their own rules. They have different rules but one thing for sure it’s a rip off and check it out the one who do the voucher and the other customer look suspicious when they look each other.
Wow awesome stuff, shows the versatility for reusing waste aluminium and importance of recycling. What a super neat system at 3.15 for the continuous pouring of the small ingots (am sure there is a proper name for those)
Correct name is ingot 😂
@@southaussiegarbo2054 i was a bit curious myself. As seeing the different industries i see them have 100 things that seem like the same item, but all are called different things.
Interesting although it looked as if there were still a lot impurities being poured into the billets. Maybe not a problem depending upon end use?
it will be further purified if needed after this process, i guess

Aluminum is so reflective that even when it's red hot it can still look silvery when the light hits it. Make no mistake, though. It's _red hot._

Video in which we begin to see positive developments (recycling) .... The plant is not very old! But unfortunately the video is rather poorly produced (the disorder does not appear only in this plant) ... no explanatory subtitles and we do not understand all the activities!
Et dire que les débris et les déchets sont sans valeur,,,le recyclage est non seulement une industrie écolo mais économiquement très rentable , il faut bien y aller de l'avant
*THE IRONY: This is a 'recycled' video composed from bits of other recycling related videos.*
This is the cleanest refinery ever.
We had an aluminum foundry at the university where I used to be employed (worked?). We would gather aluminum scraps, all different alloys and the result was a mystery metal. We used an induction furnace, driven by a motor-generator. At this point we were teaching the fundamentals of the casting process. I noticed in the video they took a small sample of the molten metal and put it a small container, probably for analysis.

Aluminium has high affinity towards oxidation. The remelting furnace is not explained whether it is an induction furnace or any other. Well it is a good informative vedio.

Why do all these videos always have shitty music in them? Just do the normal noises, christ
Parabéns pelo vídeo, conteúdo bem educativo
I don't understang why there is such a long run between melt and ingot mold. All that turbulence and oxidation ! Also, why not use electricity in a sealed inert gas or vacuum environment during the melt process ? Same with heated short-run piping to heated molds in vacuum.
Gracias por mostrarnos tan excelente y moderno proceso de reciclaje del Aluminio, Felicitaciones....!
Nice clips of what's going on but there's no sense of showing the process from start to finish.
This is interesting how they recycling well with it.
It seems to be more enthusiastic as well.
They are trying to not let to waste other things.
IDO THIS FOR WORK!!!!! IT IS HOT AS HELL AND DUSTY! AND DOESNT PAY WIRTH A SHIT! KEEPS THE LIGHTS ON THO!
Is there any product used in manufacturing and smelting and processing production of metals glass ect the can come processed material from recycled material theres gotta be a way so no by products cant be used for something.
I have a question:how to dispose the melting wastes that come out from the furnace after the process, aluminum melting wastes could be very bed to the soil .
The dross still contains high percent aluminum. There`s a special equipment to recycle and separate it. Finally get all metal like Al, Ni, Ti to reuse.
Sure would like to know what is happening. Jus music and video of.....hell, I dont know. What a waste of time, give it a thumbs down for this reason
Massive cleanup before the film crew came in ......... of course the corporate bosses were totally unaware that the facility ever got dirty....... yeah right
would nt want the gas bill
Une musique débile !!! Des commentaires auraient été plus intéressants !

This is very cool looking. It would be nice to know:
1) What kinds of impurities(non-Al) end up being heated and what happens to them?
2) Does the finished product contain impurities greater than non-recycled smelting?
3) How many kWh's of energy for a given weight(or mass) of finished product?
4) What are the gasses(by-products) released during the melting process?
5) What is the cost difference between recycling(as is shown here) and creating from earthen ore by weight(or mass)?
Thanks in advance if you know any answers. It would better help to quantify and gauge this type of recycling.

Imagine what it cost to run that factory, and the cost of the machines,
I understand that aluminum plants are always located near large power sources, they consume enormous amounts of electricity.
But it is cheaper and better for enviroment than make it brand new

What's the energy saving on recycled aluminum ?
compared to mining bauxite and extracting Al through very high temp, very high voltage electrical process, the savings is considerable.
