Nothing like sitting at the beach and listening to the waves and your thoughts. That is as peaceful as it gets.
I was busting a gut when you were panicking that the motor scooter wouldn’t start!!! 😂
Especially when you put out the Asian accent and say bike no good!!! 😂
It’s like the Asian accents going to make them understand English !!!!😂
That girl that came out to help you was a BOSS!!!
Thanks Mike, she was a lifesaver!
@@BarefootVlogger ha ha, it’s fun
thats a really nice villa, hostess has your breakfast ready fabulous; I love beaches 🏖️
That was awesome. Now you’re getting out there seeing the daily life. Beautiful country and people.
I love the way you mix with the locals and not just go to all the usual tourist stops. (This definitely makes you stand out in a positive way from the other UA-camrs ). We are spending a month touring Vietnam this summer and I’m looking forward to getting lost and seeing the real Vietnam.
Thanks for sharing
Thanks Richard! To me it's the best way to get to know the country and its people. Have a great trip and safe travels!
Great video yet again Barefoot. Lol I immediately thought it was the scooter stand when the bike did not start and was hoping that you showed it while you were trying to figure out what happened but you did not. No worries buddy it happened to me in Thailand. We learn by our mistakes. Also you quickly adapted to the Asian way of riding against the traffic haha.
This was funny. But u learned so fast. Impressed
A guy from Croatia in Vietnam, hi from Croatia!
Croatia in the house!
It's extraordinary the growth you've made in 2 years I congratulate you Terry for the quality of your videos and for having the courage to live your dream life 🤙
Thank you brother
That looked like a good area to rent a bike. Not much traffic. Didn’t really see many tourists for a beach area.
The more i watch, the morer i wanna keep watching 🙂 ❣
So glad! Thanks Eva
I think it might be worth it for you to experience a homestay by the Mekong Delta and if time/money permits book a tour for the floating market there (as well as other things to see/do in that area). Southern Vietnamese countryside is a calming and hospitable place. :) (Well, maybe not as calm in really touristy places.)
Next trip for sure, great recommendation thanks!
I have been living in the Mekong Delta (with my VNese wife and son) for 4+ years - very lovely - highly recommended!
A wonderful adventure. You make me feel like a native
This was cool to watch 😊🛵🌅
I am glad ypu made hundted Of Friends Bareffoot.
I'm loving your work what to say more thx a bunch Terry keep on keeping on keep going
So kind thanks Monika!
I always wondered about the beaches in Vietnam and thought they must be nice.
If Ting was giving the massage that was bargain. She was cute.
Scooter riding is fun but being on that bull must of been scary

Definitely get an Apocalypse Now feedback from the beach ⛱️ ! Charlie Don't Surf ! 🏄♂️ 🌊
Look like in Key West Florida . But, Vietnam Cheap and easy go everywhere...
The writing over the door could be a persons name. (Ngụy Như Tộc). Thanks for sharing. Your videos are always entertaining.
Oh so it was someone's house? It didn't seem like anyone was living there. Thank you my friend
@@BarefootVlogger It's a memorial in honour of that person. Although I don't know who he was.
@@BarefootVlogger I am interested this hostel you staying now in HoiAn. Would you please tell me how do we can rent it when next time we in Hội An. Thanks Terry
@@DevineOne "tộc' is like family / clan/ tribe , it came from the word" bộ tộc " which means " tribe" . Ngụy is the family name of the clan / family , như is kind of a mixed between family name / middle name, because there are different " ngụy " family names, so the " như" middle name will distinguish this Nguy family from other Nguy family , however not all family members get the " nhu" middle names , but when they are written into the family genealogy , all of their middle names will change to " nguy nhu" in the book. so the building is for worshipping nguy nhu family clan ancestors , and there will be great gathering of the family at the full moon of the 1st and 7th months in lunar new year calendar .
@@daphuc502 thanks for your explanation!
Another adventure. I felt like a native
Terry You nuts driving a motorcycle 🏍️ 😂😂make me worry 😬 NYC ❤
O.P. you may be right, but what a ride! Give my regards to Broadway
love your clips Barefoot, wishing you good health bro
Hello Army
The motorbike man told you that you should take a Grab because he thought that you were not yet able to drive a scooter by yourself . I think he was right . Be careful when you drive in VN guy .
lol it turned out ok.
@@BarefootVloggerkamikaze ride my friend brave and onward!!
Amazing video
Sorry what happened to you.
Please be safe
Did u hear about the earthquake in New York? Have a great weekend
17:36' ok, Google Translate just butchered this translation. Nguy Nhu is their family name Toc means family. for ex Gia Toc means big and wealthy family. So I guess this is where they have their family gatherings from way back. You are stepping on heritage of a very big family in this village
The still images at the end was a nice touch to complete the vlog. Great content!
Hahaha, very nice !!! 🤩🤩🤩👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏
Did any bugs bite you? Lol! That lady at the hotel was nice . You must have been out of your mind to rent the scooter? Me!- NO Thanks!😊
I’ll see u next month hopefully u come there by then Terry
Sounds good safe travels brother!
Nice
Great tour videos man one thing though you should never point with your fingers in Vietnam or SE asia its considered extremely rude especially with your left hand :)
What's the name of the resort/ villas that you say would be a great place to stay, around the 40 minute mark?
Citadines
That’s a beach walk
I want buy Haus there ..
Nice 👍 Do u speak America it’s funny
When you go to Da Nang
Right after Hoi An
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I read on Vn govt website that foreigners can’t drive a motorcycle without a Vietnamese license. Not like in Thailand. It can take 6 months for one to be issued. Has the law been changed?
No, but this is a scooter not a motorcycle. You don't need a Vietnamese license if you are from another country. You need an International Driver's license with motorcycle endorsement if that's what you're driving, plus your own country's license.
Hello my friend my mom know you
7:50 he said, you're suck at riding a motorbike so you should've take grabs/taxi ......
Doing that would defeat the whole purpose of the vlog.
"ngụy nhu toc "building is like a mausoleum? but it is not for a particular person, persons , but it is for your entire family lines or your entire ancestors. " toc " is like blood line / clan , " nguy " is the family name , and " nhu" is kind of both family name and middle names, to distinguish with other " nguy" family names , but not all members of the family get the 'nhu" middle name. Vietnamese worship ancestors so every year we gather all family members at the pass away date of immediate family members like grandparents ...ect.. both for remembrance our closed ancestors and have a big family gathering to build closer family ties too , and every months at the full moon or the 15th of lunar calendar and , we worship all ancestors at home by flowers , offering , gifts, burning incenses .... not just immediate passed away family member. and these large buildings are for the great gathering of very very far away family members with the same family names , especially in the full moon of the 1st month and 7th month of lunar calendar .
Mate, the sandwich is called a baghett ffs
😂😂😂
Maybe baguette
I like your video, however, don’t give money to venders, they work for a living. Buy their products instead. Also check the local customs, in Vietnam tipping is not customary. Be poor and humble like them, price haggling is customary too. Those green bumping cucumbers are called bitter melons. Keep up the good work. Just trying to help not hate. I will delete this message to you in a couple of days.
This is how a constructive comment should be left. FYI, I get comments from some telling me I'm cheap when I haggle. So you can't win. At times, I buy the product and give it to someone nearby. It just depends on a variety of factors. Thanks for the input and please leave it up
