I have watched almost all the test drive reviews. every one complains that there is not enough space in the rear seat ( issue will be same in all compact SUVs). if you need more space then engine should be placed on the top of the car and re-model the seats. Please note that people buying the car know that it is sub 4meter and obviously it is an issue. usually, in these cars driver ( and person next to him) moves his seat a bit forward to accommodate back-seat comfortable.
also, compact cars are most suitable for city drive. So Kia can compromise on boot and provide slightly more space for back-seat. This is what Kwid has done.
That's not the case with Brezza. I am 6ft 2 and my brother who is almost same height sits easily in the back seat with his knees not brushing the driver seat at any point in time even on long highway trips

Sonet Diesel automatic htx: Can u leave and lock the doors with car being neutral or gear? Mine is not locking until i put it in park mode..it problematic where u hv to leave ur car in neutral for parking space constraints..if u leave the car it says key not detected and car wont lock..any solution?

Kia service cost will be similar to hyundai.
If HTK + prices hover around 9.99 then one should go straight for Creta or Seltos base variants.
htk plus sud be around 8.8 L then it ll be a good marketing.

Hey! I am really confused between the Diesel Auto and the Diesel Manual. It will be really helpful if you can help in answering the following 3 points?
1) What would be the mileage in a city like Mumbai (mix of highway and city) for Diesel Auto and Diesel Manual?
2) What will be the mileage for the Auto Diesel in the normal mode and Eco Mode?
3) Is the 115 BHP auto engine signficantly better than the 100 BHP manual engine that one should comprise on the mileage and yet go for the automatic?

I’ve driven the petrol. For the sonet. It’s better than venue, magnite and brezza. Nexon may be better. Xuv300 should be the same as this.
@@IndianChristFollower nexon or xuv 300 has very light steering hence doesnt feel connected in terms of high speed stability, sonet is much better with a heavier steering which also auto centres!

Sir, i have a diesel automatic sonet. Is it ok to put neutral while vehicle is on move in automatic torque converter. I have noticed doing that gives much better mileage in city especially when u r not giving much acceleration. Vehcile slows down rapidly when u release the accelerator in most cases.. does putting neutral and then in drive when necessary in moving vehicle affect transmission?

Bro, WRV is not a sub 4 m SUV it is considered a crossover , its only competition is ford freestyle and suzuki Ignis
If the rear seat space is on par with Venue and Ecosports then its fine. Anything less and its a dealbreaker.

For the 1 litre turbo engine with the IMT transmission, isn't the turbo lag a pain in the ass? Like I have to drive the car for 90% of the times in a busy city like Bangalore (daily office going purposes), then isn't the turbo lag something that would screw the experience everyday, everytime? is there a way to get rid of it, or is it something that one has to live with?
I think IMT maybe better. Because IMT you still have the crawl mode, like the DCT. And to shift gears, you just use the gear box.
What's the on road price for this variant
And how about it's safety? Nobody is bothered that its based on the Santro platform and hasn't got tested by NCAP?

Ford EcoSport anyday is a better driver's car in the segment. The driving dynamics, the steering feel and feedback, and the punchy 1.5L TDCi engine makes it really fun to drive.

Seltos(HTX ivt) if you want more spacious with wide suv body and don't consider features and safety features found in gt line
Sonet ( gt diesel AT) it will be my choice because it has more features and similar engine that is found in seltos diesel for performance.

I had very bad experience with Kia Sonet Diesel. Faulty cars. No after sales service. Always lie to customers. Please don't waste your money in buying this vehicle or cars from this brand. All cars have some issues. Please cancel your booking before they trap you.
In my car issue arises in first 60kms and vehicle needs to be taken at workshop.

I bet he isnt above 6.2 feet and thereby he gets no option to complain about rear seats, it seats 5 adults easily up to height of 5”10-6”00 feat easily! We can all push the seat till the best and still and no space even on a Merc, so why complain!
