Nice to see that the info of dwarven being the best is spreading its so broken knockdown power means more knocks when big monsters are knocked they take bonus damage
Knockdown Resistance does NOT aid in stopping you from Flinching. Someone tested this by going all out dwarven with armor that has the highest base value in knockdown resistance, and a basic b*tch goblin still flinched him.
Maybe not from basic flinch but that isn't the only thing in the game that is a stun, you can literally be knocked down and if unlucky are forced into the crawl state which I rarely survive if im forced into it. While I'm not 100% sure that's what it does it'd be my guess, that it makes you harder to take off your feet. You'll still flinch. If it negated flinches there wouldn't be any danger in this game.
Love yalls videos for multiple games but I would like if you added timestamps for each tip not much to skip ahead but so when I rewatch sections it’s easier to find what I’m looking for. Small request but love the vids so far

Many have said the same but this is so important I'll rehash here: when pawns 3 and 4 (borrowed ones) are dismissed OR _DIE_ all stuff in their inventory will go to your stash (apart from their original gear), I've been using them as _couriers_ to my storage since, literally, the very beginning of the game. I think a correction to the vid is in order since this is _very_ important, and I've seen one too many content creators teaching this wrong... everybody makes mistakes, so I won't blame you guys, but please correct it ASAP so to not spread... cheers
If youve already progressed the Melve story and lost the vendor there you can go to Harve and find Mia the girl with the backpack. She sells 5 of each too, and Harve has its own portcrystal.
The very first time I bought something from that vendor it was five each. She'll restock on day two and only have three of each. It may be that you have to wait for day four to have full five again. Makes the rotation with fruit rotting quite a pain.
@@grixmaw You'd want then to only ripen. And on the 3rd day, they finally ripe. But I do an extra step to just buy and take them to storage. So that when the time comes to ripen the fruit, I'll do it all at once.

I don’t know I saw another version where the guy claimed it was his and if anyone says you get more their clipbaiting and he was getting 300k an hour but his version was WAY less optimized. If that’s what you’re going off then I’d say these numbers are probably close on.
The Forager spec is one I can't seem to get despite doing the all the quests in the slums and maxing out my affinity with the little boy that gives it to you :( he just follows me around town

And then on new game plus look up tips and shit. As someone who didn’t play the first game and didn’t watch much leading up to release, this is the most fun I think I’ve had on a game just about ever. It’s up there with Red dead 2, GTA, GoW. The same with Ulrika, if you just continue to do the quests shes involved in.
For the apples and grape method, I’ve been doing this since the original video dropped and idk how people are getting more than 50k an hour. By the time I hit 99 ripe apples and grapes, I sell all of them and only get that much, then I have to buy 2 port crystals so technically my takeaway is 30k.
I recommend not worrying about your first playthrough. You'll stress yourself out. You have NG+ to super min max everything. Just enjoy the experience.
Farming magic medals from golems is a far more engaging way to get gold. I'll have to look at the maths, but I'd be surprised if it's not on par with the fruit trading.
Yeah me and my friend figured as well since u can get what 5 per golem not including looting the corpse for chance of 2 more dropping and they what sell for 1200 gold each. Theres also a good place in batahl (sorry if spelt wrong) that has 2 golem together so a total of 12000 + a chance to get more from their bodies (max 4) so maybe 16,800
Weight is NOT bad in this game, and the further you go and explore, you get more max weight often with leveling and the beetles. I have had no issues with it since early game
The dragon forge guy sells the ferry stones every 2 weeks I think 3 for 3 dragon crystals I’m not sure if it’s 2 weeks but yea just know he restocks them!!!
So on the weight thing; could you not hire a pawn, fill their bag with stuff and just throw them to the brine to have your stuff moved to storage quicker?
BIG WARNING: Completing the events in Melve significantly reduces the speed of the entire gold farming method described in this video. It's really unfortunate that this isn't mentioned because this is a big deal. The next best method is far more inefficient as this vendor described in the video is no longer available once all the events in Melve are completed. The next best vendor sells a stack of three apples and grapes each, and you have to wait two days per cycle to buy.
Theres another piece of evidence you can find and if you give the evidence to the guard captain ,who's name i forget, first he'll help u escape after, though be somewhat mad with you
thats wrong if a pawn dies its entire inventory that they did not spawn with goes into your storage, it is never sent back with them unless it if for a quest or equipped onto them or gifted when dismissed
I know this might sound weird but in my opinion if you're going to optimize the fun out of the game like people do with the fruit trading, you might as well just skip the grind and cheat (if you're on PC that is). If all you do is wait, buy, wait, buy, wait, buy, deposit, repeat, you're no longer playing a game but rather doing a chore. If you still have fun doing it, then fine, I couldn't do it. I'm not a person to scoff at grinding for a bit, I myself use the lands around Batthal to grind for gold and exp, but whilst it's a lot less profitable, I'm still playing the game in an enjoyable way.
I just want to add, don't progress the melve village story to do the fruit method, runne has dissapeard for me, there is a quest chain that would eventually lead to some people emigrating from melve and runne has dissappear for me after that stage.
Regional pricing, the main reason that teleportation is a WAY better superpower than one would normally think. (I'd personally put it at tier 2, alongside stuff like foresight, etc., but below the tier 1 abilities of time manipulation (though tbf time manip at full power is prob more tier 0.5...), etc. or tier 0 of reality control, etc..) - And the main reason why video game economic exploits work so well. Even in real life you could make an absurd amount of money via regional pricing if you had the ability to instantly teleport somewhere else. Even just things like convoluted currency exchange loops end up ridiculously profitable when transportation and time passage are no longer factors.
I missed Wilhelmina final quest…the window was so short I didn’t expect to interact with her again. I checked in with her before leaving the city for the next part but she didn’t say anything so thought I need to wait for story to progress It’s technically a bug that help you carry more weight…. Lol pun intended Btw if I brined the pawns, I lose my items??? I thought they would go back to my storage
technically there are 2 things i know of that actually can 1 shot you... SPOILER Medusa's gaze can instantly kill you if you are petrified and the attacks from the brine monsters in the unmoored lands can instantly kill you just as though you fell in water.
That gold farming method was exhausting listening to, and pointless AF considering how easy and quick it is to kill specific mobs for gold drops or get pawns with quests in which their player offer gold rewards.

Please RageGaming make time stamps for your videos. It makes it easier to reference later.
People stopped using them to force you to watch the whole video for the algorithm
@@tuckbot2855 And when faced with anything larger than a Goblin, you're gonna get knocked on your ass eitherway when they decide to smack you.
That's what makes Subtlety in the thief vocation so good. You get targeted less often.
@@smac2047 Unless all 3 pawns and the arisen has it...Yes i've had that happen.
Love yalls videos for multiple games but I would like if you added timestamps for each tip not much to skip ahead but so when I rewatch sections it’s easier to find what I’m looking for. Small request but love the vids so far
The shipping items to storage via pawns is interesting!
I hit level 58 today. I have only done 1 main quest and 7 side quests 😂
You’re the man!!! 🤣🤣🤣
Let others play Itsuno’s vision, while we are making our own epic questline!
I gotta give a shout out to my fellow data analyst. Using data tables is also my favorites way to enjoy many games. It's not always appreciated... but it's really nice to see when it is 💜
Many have said the same but this is so important I'll rehash here: when pawns 3 and 4 (borrowed ones) are dismissed OR _DIE_ all stuff in their inventory will go to your stash (apart from their original gear), I've been using them as _couriers_ to my storage since, literally, the very beginning of the game.
Mia doesn't appear in Harve at all ofr me lol, waited 21 days and nothin.
Rotten foods can be used to create lamp oil.
There is also the Dragonforged style
When you find the dragonforged and opt to enhance your gear with the dragon materials he will reduce your gear weight be half on the first upgrade
Idk why people inflate the gold numbers. You'll probably make 300k per hour max, if you do everything perfectly and don't get bored as shit.
I don’t know I saw another version where the guy claimed it was his and if anyone says you get more their clipbaiting and he was getting 300k an hour but his version was WAY less optimized. If that’s what you’re going off then I’d say these numbers are probably close on.
I rather hunt for money. 1st playthrough I already maxed my Archer and Thief gear, so not even money is necessary.
Your content is amazing, keep up the good work man!
It's cool to see my analysis actually go to use.
Saw your post on Reddit. Thanks for taking the time calculating it ❤
Honestly I forgot about the main story just after I reached the first big town, now I'm just a caravan guard
The 3&4 pawn storage direct to storage is a great tip.
When they die, the loot for to your stash. It's never lost.
1:00 it would be okay if we had those take mule soldiers from DD1 that would take your stuff to storage for you
The Forager spec is one I can't seem to get despite doing the all the quests in the slums and maxing out my affinity with the little boy that gives it to you :( he just follows me around town
i would say the most oppressive mechanics in the game are the camera and controls..
I gave Ulrika a bundle of flowers and now she leaves me ferry stones 😮 I guess one bundle maxes out her affinity
Affinity is SUPER easy to max out, I did the quest to save the elven village chiefs daughter and it maxed out his affinity immediately.
Finally mid to late game tips I've been waiting
It might seem overwhelming but I honestly think you should just enjoy the game as vanilla as possible for ur first play through and experience as the developers wanted. And then on new game plus look up tips and shit. As someone who didn’t play the first game and didn’t watch much leading up to release, this is the most fun I think I’ve had on a game just about ever. It’s up there with Red dead 2, GTA, GoW. It’s so damn fun love this game.
Also sell the fruit you get in Battahl like the yellow quince and the fig in Vermund for 350.
I'm shocked by how few pawns have upgraded gear in the 50 level range. My pawn is all dragon forged, but I did play DD1 a ton
I am trying to do this rn, but wyrmslife is soooo hard to farm.
@@adamtheexplorer8725 at least you are trying! If the last 3 pawns I picked up, only 1 had any upgrades at all and they were mid 50s. My pawn is a warrior named Noi if you need someone to hit stuff hard
@@gitsnak777 i dont upgrade gear on my pawn that much because shes a mage... it doesn't matter what her stats are shes not there for damage... i will eventually upgrade her gear its just not important cus shes a mage... if she were a fighter or rogue or something then yeah i would upgrade her gear more.
Im in the mid lv30s and most pawns I've favorited are not leveled up or optimized at all.
On a side note I've been using a Capcom pawn that just keeps finding those dragon/wyrm crystals. He seems to always have a ton of monster materials too.
Because most people have lives. The game hasn't even been out for a week yet
Him explaining the strategy while I laugh my ass off him carrying the shop keeper into his shop and force him to sell stuff. 🤣 | 11:14
I find it funny that she's dos dwarven smithing because if you read the book in front of the door it states that Brokker practices in bakbattahlian smithing so it would make more sense that thats how she was trained in but ill take the dwarven smithing an be happy
The one big issue with pawn storage...dragonsplague. More pawns, better chances to get dragon aids. Be on the look out and alert ever more.
im...pretty sure Wilhelmina's quest has nothing to do with affinity in terms of getting it started. You encounter her twice during the main quest, and its going back to her after that is what lets you trigger her questline.
With the fruit gold farm everyone is talking about, the capital town buys figs whatever the other thing is, at the same price
Can you guys make a video if items you should sell, give or save please!
I die the romance quest without raising her affinity at all, just went there and the quest started
Oh God damnit I didn't know there were different smithing styles.
ripened figs do the same thing in vermund, the sell for like almost 600 a peice at bijorn, quinces/ripe also sell for shit loads, at bkprns
There's a golem on a large hill along the coast near Vernworth but I'm unsure if it respawns. Would be great for early farming if it does.
Hunt dragons, 15WLC per kill = 15000 G +excess mats, nearly 20k a fight👍
Weight is NOT bad in this game, and the further you go and explore, you get more max weight often with leveling and the beetles. I have had no issues with it since early game
Medusa heads still decay in your storage as I had one do that to me
The dragon forge guy sells the ferry stones every 2 weeks I think 3 for 3 dragon crystals I’m not sure if it’s 2 weeks but yea just know he restocks them!!!
are you sure if the pawn die goes to their master, and not to the storage? because from what i know always goes to your storage
That is exactly what I was thinking!
The next best vendor sells a stack of three apples and grapes each, and you have to wait two days per cycle to buy.
where is this other vendor cause this is what i'm dealing with now
There is another vendor in the nameless village who will sell 5 of each
@@dazeobfBorderwatch Outpost the first place you get your pawns from
@@trimstinyventurezthanks for the tip i'mma head over there
@@trimstinyventurez That's on a three day cycle, but yes, that vendor is available as well.
It’s ok cotton bro too busy thinking about playing more dd2 his words slipped
Those/That rabbit(s) at the beginning lacks self-preservation instincts.
SPOILER
If runne goes away to somewhere else you can switch to the nameless village merchant since he also has 5 apples and grapes
? If a pawn dies, items do NOT go to their master it goes to your inventory. Only wearables you equip on them go to their master.
Thought I forgot the video at 1.5 speed.
I checked in with her before leaving the city for the next part but she didn’t say anything so thought I need to wait for story to progress
It’s technically a bug that help you carry more weight…. Lol pun intended
Btw if I brined the pawns, I lose my items??? I thought they would go back to my storage
Wtf, I had no idea that you could sit on a bench and pass time😮
If you inspect Oxcart signs, time will automatically pass until theyre available😁 also handy
technically there are 2 things i know of that actually can 1 shot you... SPOILER
Medusa's gaze can instantly kill you if you are petrified and the attacks from the brine monsters in the unmoored lands can instantly kill you just as though you fell in water.
Runne will no longer be in that after village after they move to Harve
Or OR just farm the end game for free ferrystones and exp. after dragon forge boosting
The wandering trader folk expanded the inventory after I spent x amount of gold.
Really? I wonder if any of the wandering armor/weapon traders will get new gear if you spend enough?
That gold farming method was exhausting listening to, and pointless AF considering how easy and quick it is to kill specific mobs for gold drops or get pawns with quests in which their player offer gold rewards.
so uhm, I never gave Wilhelmina any gifts and still got her quest.
I just talked to her after the masquerade and the second time I wanted to visit I had the quest trigger
The shopkeeper for the fruit leaves if you progress too far into the story. Not sure if he makes shop somewhere else.
he doesn't sadly but there are other merchants in other parts that can sell apples and grapes
My trove of useless trivia facts gathered from being a Dungeon Master for 16 Years wanted me to let you know that the woman who runs a brothel is often called a Madam or Madame.
I really hate that sorc armor on male arisen/pawns. I like playing sorc but not as a DRAG Sorcerer.
Funny how the method for gold is still the same it was years ago in DD1 but not as effective as you were allowed to buy 99 of the item. It got patched eventually
Bro why do all npcs blush with the discount thing hahah. Its so weird. You just gave them 2-3 flowers and now they wanna mate you
MC buff. Power of ARISEN!
It's Baldurs Gate 3 all over again. I'm just trying to be nice and give the vendor some neat rocks I found.
In the first game on my first playthrough the blacksmith was my “beloved”. Can’t complain. He’s a masterwork, ya can’t go wrong.
The cut scene was so freaking funny though.
There's a problem with riftstones, some of them won't let you recruit your dismissed peon. You only get access to peons present at THIS riftstone only.
Yea... your items go back to your bank when pawns die.
for ferrystones just use a thief and enjoy the game , he will steal them from enemys
Hey any idea where the merchant from melve goes to after the quest home is where the hearth is? He has disappeared in that mass exodus from that village and can't seem to find him anymore
