On mine, i found the wire that goes from the starter to the coil is worn out so bad it finally fell apart . Last night it failed and left me stranded at harbor freights parking lot after theu were closed. Im down to one car right now. My wifes Town and county is in the shop with a oil exchange issue( bigger than i can do) so i am going to use a screw driver to start my car today in order for me to be able to go get the new starter come back and fix the very same van. Hahaha. Fml. I hope i don't have a problem before i get that done.
After removing the 13 mm nut from the ground wire, the 15 mm stud nut has been extremely difficult to remove… and of course I didn’t want to put too much pressure on the transmission lines while trying to remove it, I grab my 18 inch, half drive, and remove the transmission control with the 5 mm wire harness bolt to get more clearance … will be working on this in the morning again, just to get the starter out, preferably go straight into the 15 mm stud nut seem to lose a lot of torque with the wobble.. i’ll try to let you guys know how it goes if you have any other info, although I have not tried the pipe on the ratchet yet…
The whole time I was holding my breath afraid those jackstands didn't have a good bite on that cross member 😮 I'm sorry but I would have never gotten under that van without some type of additional support in case it fell
just bought an 07 from a buddy, seems like starter is the problem, i hear a faint clicking and after multiple key cycles it starts, the yellow signal wire also doesnt clip in I wonder if its that wire now after finding out from this vid that its the signal wire
I've watched 3 videos so far on this. I will be doing it today. I'm at

My new starter has 3 mounting holes also but only 2 of them are actually used. ('05 Town & Country 3.3L).
