Hey guys! This video took 3 days to upload 🥺. If you were part of the first premiere attempt, thanks for tuning in! Sorry it didn't work haha. Well, it looks like it worked this time so I hope you enjoy the video!
Congratulations Gold Guy ,you have a new job & buying your first home, that's a huge celebration for you, Your videos are great ,providing you don't tire yourself out my friend 🙂🙂😉
Hi there Gold Guy,that was a total pleasure to watch you change the timing chain,I've learned now,how that's done & thankfully my engine doesn't have any ticking sounds, but,I know what to listen for & how it's done,Excellent maintenance there friend 🙂🙂🙂
I had no idea you didn't use a new chain and gears at the rebuild. I just assumed you did. that's why I was confused when I heard the chain slap before you replaced it. Good Job. That would have been a great time to check the valve lash while it was down. Cheers from Louisiana.
Sad to see this thing go, you helped me a ton with mine. I definitely understand the busy struggle too, been working on this bike, working on a 2g DSM shell up build, garage work... all in my 1 day off a week, things can be tough. But I hope to see you get back at it because these videos are really good
The holes on the pins that hold the chain together wheather on a timing chain or sprocket chain,, ovals out , the perfectly round holes so they call it streatched but it’s really just worn !!!!
Hi mate, Nice to hear that you bought a haus that's awesome so for sure we will see you now on new videos working in the haus, that will be also interesting. All the best mate. Regards from Germany.!!!!
Sounds like bottom end noise. My trx 450 project sounded like that and it was the stator side crank bearing. I would do a full rebuild with new parts, from what it sounded like you used used parts???
Good job on the videos, you are awesome. Just focus on what is important to you because videos are not as important as your actual life. Good luck and keep up the good work🤙
He already checked the valve clearances when he installed the new cams in a prior episode. Find the playlist, watch the story - it is very satisfying :-)
Sounds like you need a bottom end rebuild. Or check valves and timing. Tensionor in most cases but mainly sounds like a bottom end problem get some new bearings in it should sound way. Better
can you help me with some info im new in this, i purchased a 2006 yamaha yz450 4 stroke 2 wheel, and blew the motor , and im trying to buy another one but the mechanic said that the yamaha yz450f doesn fit or the parts are not compatible with mine, whats the difference on the engine , mine is a kick start . thank you
I’d replace and put a manual timing chain tensioner in there as that could be part of the issue but sounds a lot better with the new timing chain great video 👍
32 and I still live with my mom. I’m currently saving for my first house and I’m thankful she’s helped. I’m at $56k and counting . 🤣🤣🤣 I have 2 rentals and I’m about to retire hehe.... I wish I would have found a house for cheap at his age . My cards were dealt differently
Definitely sounds like chain tensioner is garbage. Slapping sounds is the chain guide smacking the crown of the tensioner when the cam lobe hits the valve and puts tension on the chain. Get a manual cam chain tensioner. Set it and forget it.
That looks like a fun bike. I like dual sports so that you can ride to a trail and go down it, then ride back home. These things you have to trailer somewhere just to ride them. Nice work though. Good luck in your new job. Any projects around the new house you are going to film?

SEI UN GRANDE TI SEGUO DALL'ITALIA!!
It sounds good, thanks for the step by step
Hi good job gold guy, greethigns for México
Good video. But when will you continue the Suzuki ts 185 restoration?
Great job Mason 👍🏻
Sounds like bottom end noise. My trx 450 project sounded like that and it was the stator side crank bearing. I would do a full rebuild with new parts, from what it sounded like you used used parts???
It sorta just sounds like a loose timing chain. Maybe the tensioner is bad?
Good job on the videos, you are awesome. Just focus on what is important to you because videos are not as important as your actual life. Good luck and keep up the good work🤙
Put a manual timing chain tensioner in it as well. Auto tensioners are notoriously bad.
i purchased a 2006 yamaha yz450f and it makes the same noice, where are the timing marks on it , i want to chamge te timming chain
@@gustavomedina912 you gotta pull the valve cover off to see timing marks. Your camshaft sprocket may have slipped.
How was the ebay cylinder I'm looking at buying one for my 06 yz450f if it last pretty good I'll run one too
Congratulations! Understand why you've been busy. Success to you. 😀
Congrats on the house bro!
You dont check the valve clearances?
He already checked the valve clearances when he installed the new cams in a prior episode. Find the playlist, watch the story - it is very satisfying :-)
Nicely done.

randy Loredo He just rebuilt the entire engine That’s sounds like a normal thumper
@@sixpacksandsrts9122 he didn’t rebuild it. He assembled it. It wasn’t all new parts

@@gustavomedina912 I'm not sure man sorry, you'll have to Google it.
What happened to the impreza?:(
Is there supposed to be oil under the flywheel cover?
On this engine, Yes.
More CB750! Thanks for the wrenching videos bro.
Awesome video!
I’d replace and put a manual timing chain tensioner in there as that could be part of the issue but sounds a lot better with the new timing chain great video 👍
@Josh Frank well i would buy it ,at least there video proof he did change parts ,lol
Great job 👍
You bought a house at your age? Nice work man
Man, I bought my first house at age 23 !

MA BOI IS GETTIN IT DONE!
I'M SO PROUD! SHED A TEAR EVEN

these off road bike is just high maintenance but ton of power
Should have kept the un-editet intro with you just casually rolling into frame
Steffen Tysnes yes he need to go bad to that.
It’s just the valves. My bike ticks too but not under load.
Sir, if I want to take the used engine of yz125 2006 then how much will I get?
Did he put oil in it
What an absolute bummer. Hope you sort it out
I love youre video
You DID top off the oil right?
Did you profit from the bike or was this just for fun
How much are you thinking you'll get? I live near by.
Randy Pullman where at bud. I’m from butler
Did you sell it yet ?
Yeah I just sold it two days ago
Wow I came cross this video late ! I been looking for weeks lol. Oh well I’ll keep 👀! great content tho good luck

How much u selling it for
Imagine getting a job in February and two months later you buy house, only in America, hell ya good for you bud.
What an interesting engine... thanks for sharing!
Delicious!
Next video? Rx50?
U'll find the clutch makes alot of noise pull the clutch in and listen to the engine I bet most of it goes away
Vlogs?😏
I hope he will make some! Would be a nice change for a couple of times!
Just lay the bike on the ground to change timing chain, unless it’s time for an oil change
I need caferacer videos.
Any age audience that might or might not know what you are showing them and depending on your knowledge???!!! Thanks 🙏 Mike
No Mason, I can't see.
That my clan name
Know what you are saying when you say to an otherwise possibly young in informed audience !

How the fuck are you buying a house by installing window blinds? What the fuck am i doing wrong?
That aint a real job.
