TRiDENT formally known as "Girls Rock Band Kakumei" formed in 2015 right out of high school. They changed the band name to TRiDENT a couple years ago when the drummer, Junna, left the band. Junna has quite a following in her own right. She has her own channel and is doing freelance drumming currently. Nagisa, the current drummer played for a band called Quince. She originally was brought on as a support member and officially joined after their first live performance together. They have several albums and mini albums. Spoopy will be on a new mini album called D-X coming out later this year.
So cool you found TRiDENT. They absolutely rock. I'm just learning about them as you are. I could totally see them doing a live concert opening for Band-Maid. Along with BRATS, check them out if you haven't yet. Lots of great hard rock bands coming out from Japan.
@@GlassMoonGaming BRATS is releasing a new song and high production video towards the end of June. The video was crowdfunded and they got 50% more than what they were trying to raise to pay for it.
Great band. They're mostly a poppy/punky hard rock style, all really good musicians and Asuka (blonde girl) is a great songwriter. Recommend,, "Continue" next if you want to, uh, continue checking them out.
This last single has been produced by Hanabie producer (and Crystal Lake drummer) Gaku Taura - no surprise it's better produced and heavier than their former works (even if they already were heavy, but a bit confined in a formula). It still sounds like Trident - but on steroids.
The band changed its name from Girls Rock Revolution(ガールズロックバンド革命) last year. It is a 3-person group and the members have not changed. Just a clear change of direction to METAL.
Gaku Taura of Hanabie and Crystal Lake fame seems to have something, doesn't he? This is Trident for sure, only more interesting, definitely getting this EP.
I don't know why but Japanese girls like dolls. school girls are attaching doll on her bag. Junna carried a doll on her back, the doll looks like her so maybe her child. I've never asked about the reason to girls because I bet it's scary or wonder story.
This song is just spooky so they name it spoopy. I have a request 3 piece band progressive mathrock band "Sokoninaru - Gou ni Moyu" Thanks, new subscriber here
If Crystal Lake's support drummer keeps producing songs like this he won't have time for Crystal Lake any longer. Between this and Hanabie's Girl's Reform Manifest dude should have all his time eaten up by producing and not playing.
Very interesting and awesome song by this week's winner. Let me know your thoughts. Don't forget to Like and Subscribe!
Three Words: Prog As Fuck!
The electronic elements they’ve added elevate this song to a new level.
Absolutely! Thanks!
Thanks for looking into Trident. This song has been my daily energy fix for a month now

We need a JAPANALOOSA. All these gurl bands in one place!! Would be awesome! 🤟🤟🤟🔥🔥🐺🦧🍌🙏
That would definitely be awesome!
I've become a fan of the channel. Nice job.
Thanks! Appreciate it!
"Ambivalent" would be my suggestion for a follow up TRiDENT song
Thanks! Added!
Love this song🤘🏻🔥

TRiDENT are:
Asuka- vocals/guitar
Serina- bass
Nagisa- drums
For more my suggestion is "Brand New World"
BRIDEAR

Damn, Nagisa has some abs to go with her exceptionally kickass drumming!😄💪🏻🤘🏻
WooHoo!

Mathrock you say? Oh it's added now for sure!
Came here to suggest Sokoninaru because I thought GMG would like it, but you beat me to it. So seconded!
The lyrics aren't correct in English compared to the original Japanese
