- A series in which Matt Gedge from Fun London Tours shows us some intriguing things in London that you may have missed.
In this video, we visit a set of steps that the Duke of Wellington had installed to allow him to mount and dismount from his horse.
You can book a tour with Matt to learn more like this at: funlondontours.com/
Brilliant. Matt's 'Changing of the Guard' Tour is an unforgettable experience. He's a highly recommended London guide.
Oh nice! I love the little bits of history scattered around London.
there are on every corner... literally:)
Very interesting! I'll look out for that next time I'm in London.
It's stuff like this that makes London the greatest city in the world--you could live there 100 years and still find things like this.
It's what makes it my favourite city in the world
I think you need to travel a bit and visit places like Madrid, Paris and Rome, just to name a few.
I've done that and personally I just like London most. I can totally understand why people would prefer others places but my personal choice stays London.
you can find this stuff literally everywhere. you never know what you are stepping on (also literally)
keep discovering. there is plenty more ;)
Amazing piece of video!
Excellent, I`ve been several times there and I didn`t pay attention to it, I`ll have a look next time.
Interesting thanks very much :)
Spooky, just finished up watching your video and here you are.
On Wensday the 31st of August this year, my parents and I went to The City of London to visit Apsley House Museum for my 32 Birthday.
More amazing some idiot hasn't tripped over it and demand they're removed! :D
Would it be possible to have listed steps to counteract that?
Chris Cutner
They're just three blocks of stone, so would that even qualify? You might try they're culturally significant.
...or tripped over it and sued the council (more likely these days)
@@Larry stones with historical value…
No surprise you've posted another VERY interesting video.Am I right in thinking I heard a snippet of Geoff on 6 music talking about the night tube earlier?
The Iron Duke, bor in Dublin, most sources gloss over that one. Born in a barn, indeed.
Matt Gedge vaguely resembles Super Hans from Peep Show.
Can I join those clubs? Hope the dues aren't too expensive!
Wait, so I just watched an advert. THANKS
I'm sorry, but did I hear you say "gotten"?
you heard right..
Matt Gedge sounds like Geoff 😂😂
considering Geoff produced and edited it, he probably wrote the script too!

I've never understood why a (straight) man would want to join a club where there's no women. But, hey, that's just me.
Unbelievable this vid is a blatant copy of the joolz guides vid (almost word for word as well ) try some original content next time
I've never seen this done so badly... Come on.. It was a fun fact and it was presented so dry it cracked
