Best I ever truck I ever drove probably were the Tatra Kolos series.
A bunch of Tatra T813 cargos came in for donation during the Gulf War 1991 and they quickly became favorites for us to drive. Some German MAN KAT1 trucks also came in that shipment and were rock solid.

According to my personal experience I can say Tatra trucks are one of the best vehicle. I drove in mines in very rough terrain, even you don't need to put first gear, just use second gear to pickup because it's so powerful enough.
The Oshkosh 8x8 is awesome, and being American, I love it. So I hate to say this, but it's #2 behind the TATRA. It's a badass truck and should be #1. 2 things the former Soviet States can build offroad utility trucks and rugged utility helicopters.

I drove the Hemtt’s for a few years in Germany back in ‘91. They were a blast and went all over the country and in all kind of road and weather conditions.

The MTVR (aka the 7ton) is a super SOLID truck! The ones I used to work on for military were made by Oshkosh, best truck company
There are several rigs not on here. I had 2 HEMMT in my Section as well as 3 M-920s. Loved both.

The MTVR went into production a long time before 2005. The Seabees started to get them around 2001-2002

You missed two the best trucks. Praga V3S and Tatra 813 8x8 kolos. Both from Czechoslovakia.
Navastar also made the popular 7.3 litre engine commonly branded as Powerstroke for Ford. They still make the Powerstroke engines as far as I know.

@@DaWhatEva Military vehicles are exempt from emissions. Most nations actually specify 'no higher than EURO 3 engine' to ensure they can run on the substandard fuel you find while deployed (or the crap that gets into jerrycans). The reason why Tatra/DAF doesnt make it is because of their special suspension which is heavy, unusual and cumbersome (though effective).

5:18 - 5:22 are not HEMTT, they're LVSR, which is the US Marine Corps 10x10 variant capable of self-loading the PLS (Palletized Load System). The rear two axles are also steerable (though to a more limited degree than the front two) to help reduce the turning radius of such a long truck.
