all 3 vault albums really grow on you with time.I feel like what they're doing is so deep and simple at the same time. I can't wait to see them live again soon and hopefully hear a lot of vault songs performed live. Because these are all gems. Such good work ugh.

I don't get why it was so much longer than the others.
it feels kinda like a mantra. maybe the song is meant to transcend time for the listener, to the point where you dont even realize how much time has passed after having listened to the song

found the vault series randomly bc STRFKR was supposed to do a show at the glass house in pomona sometime in 2017. I knew i liked isabella of castile and rawnald erickson or whatever it is. then i heard vault vol 1and immediately fell in love. half-finished scrambles of ideas put to tape in maybe a take or two. i live for that shit. each entry into the vault series was better than the last and every year no matter what, they are on constant rotation for me. can't believe these are basically just demos. holy shit, so so ososososososo good.
