@@amberstarz thank you, I‘m saying that the machine probably feels more like electric shock, or muscle contraction. Whereas a period I‘m pretty sure isn‘t an electric shock.
I've heard a period can be compared to an appendix burst. I have almost had that happen. If periods vary per person, and even in intensity, I'll tell you, I must've had a 7 or 8 on the pain scale. Because for those three days, I was bed-bound, and felt like genuine death. My experience with that phenomenon is, if you have them that bad, on a larger scale, they are way more painful than a kick to the testicles. A testicle pain has a climax, and a wind down. This was just a straight pain at a set level, all the way through.
It's true. The pain stays and it feels like you're insides are being contorted. The worst part is going to school/work n being expected to act like everything's normal.
Funny thing is when I had appendicitis I thought it was just period cramps I still told my mom next day I went to the hospital because I was at my dads house my mom had to pick me up they told us if I waited even 10 hours more it would have bursted and I could have died
Alright boys, now you need to add swollen joints, pounding headaches, nausea, insomnia and a touch of dizziness. These will start at 4:am when it's time for a test, presentation or vacatio, and continue for at least 6 days, up to 10 if you are within healthy averages. Cramps that will almost induce the much desired vomiting will hit you with a duration of 1 minute to half an hour every hour for the next 80 or so hours straight...if your having a good week! If you are having a bad week, you'll be looking at all this plus the cramps possibly all of those 10 days, plus a downgrade of energy the week before and an exhausted recovery after, due to cramps durations now being as long as 3 hours continuous. Clench your teeth, cuz once that second wind hits its time to go again! You may cancel your subscription in about 40 years. See you next month!
@@dflaming1371ool we have more nerves down there than yall have in your entire chest/abdomen. Yes period prob hurt like heck but a swift kick to the jewels is uhh to a point where we pass out and faint for like 45 min (this happens once to me)

I have one & it can help sometimes but sometimes there's just no dulling that pain lol
The cramps aren’t even the worst part of a period; it’s that weird feeling that there is blood leaking and everyone sees it when there isn’t anything there.
Omg that feeling strikes the fear of god into me. I swear my anxiety spikes when that happens to me and I get all clammy/sweaty from the stress. All that to get into the bathroom and find that you didn’t leak 🙄
Pain is just one of the problems, you sneeze and you create a blood bath, you go to the bathroom and you have the worst smelling diarrhoea known to humans, you feel dizzy, nauseous and foggy. And despite all these you have to go to work, to cook, to look after your kids, to walk your dog etc, you get the picture. Also a kick in the balls lasts for second, period on the other hand 3-7 days.
Now he understands why we get angry on our periods! It's not the period itself it's the pain and the "ok but getting kicked in the balls is worse" ok John I have no idea which one is worse but I know mine comes back every month so stop being annoying if you don't want to try that with me !!!

@@cucumberpufway9108 So you admit I'm right and that periods are not the most uncomfortable feeling ever, and you believe giving birth to be more uncomfortable. Thanks for proving my point!

Fr tho.. I was just trying to take a test and I had severe cramps! I literally had to put my head down to stop the pain! I still ended up doing good on the test surprisingly😅
Not only the pain comes with periods it also comes with mood swings, headaches, nausea, cramps that can be so bad that you can’t walk, even typical things can gross you out like your favorite foods out just food in general. My number one problem is when I get cramps at nighttime and I don’t sleep a single drop, or me worrying that I am going to leak
Fun fact! My cousin and I both have severe endometriosis and PCOS. Yay....I know. Well, 3yrs ago she has appendicitis and almost didn't go get checked out because the pain was less than what we go through with period cramps. The only reason she went to the E.R. was because it was in the middle of the month and she normally got her cycles at the end of each month.
The cramps aren't even the worst part, it's the headaches, backaches, nausea, leg cramps, moodswing and MORE. And what makes it the most nightmare is the amount of blood that comes out in a day, my personal experience since I got it from the age of 14 is every time I SNEEZE or COUGH I will feel the waterfall flowing from beneath me, especially the list of illnesses that I mentioned earlier will follow later.

It’s not just the pain. True, but I am glad this device was invented to show men that women aren’t joking when they say they are in pain from their period. Mine are wack and sometimes aren’t that bad while other times I’ll be laying on my bed with agony, not wanting to move. My friend even informed me that hers is so bad that she vomits from hers, yet my dad keeps saying that women are just dramatic, so thank you person who invented this😁
And if the pain ended with the stomach cramps, when I'm on period everything from my chest down to my knees hurts. Spine, pelvis, kidneys, liver, even fucking inner thighs hurt like hell. And I don't even have any health problems, all the doctors say it's because of the way my body's built
Me never smiling:uhm I have my period 5 days once a month thank you very much 🤨 and I'm always emotional... not in your sight tho.. BUT I MEAN IT LIKE MY PERIOD IT'S CRAMS ALWAYS KILL ME 😭
It’s not just cramps… it’s depression, nausea, low blood pressure, headaches… and if you’re lucky all that stuff strata 1-2 weeks before your period. For me the depression is the worst part. I really have to pull myself together not to cry all day long for those 1-2 weeks
You're not alone... And different hormonal birth control methods even have different effects on me too. After trying 3 that made me suicidal, and a few that worked but I wasn't keen on for other side effects, I now have the implant in my arm 😊 One of my best decisions EVER! Now I only get a period every 3months or something, and it's a TINY amount compared to all the horror movie gore fests I had for like 20years before!! 🤦♀️ ... Don't just settle for what the dr/nurse says if it isn't working for you 😊
I used to get irritable enough that I couldn’t just ignore my mom insulting me, I would start fights with her instead. Generally I can take it, but pms makes me able to stand up for myself 😂
Personally, the worst part is how sneakily the pain creeps up. It takes a while to realize what this weird uncomfortable, hard to pinpoint feeling is and once it finally clicks, it’s too late to take pain killers on time so that means spending at least a few hours of increasingly worse pain, unable to do anything but lie down and curl up until falling asleep, or on really bad days: pain so bad that even sleeping isn’t possible, so holding out until the sweet pain killers finally sweep over.
The worst is if your at school or work and you just have to bear the pain and keep working until the pain killers take effect. I have had it a couple of times and it's not nice. Especially when I gotta do customer service and just smile and walk through the feeling of being stabbed in the gut.
The worst is when you are in school and don't have pain killers and there are still 6 hours before you go home and you have to pretend for 6 hours that you are fine ❤ because you are the head girl and can't go home or just sit in class the whole day, you have to run from one class to another the whole day 💔
Sometimes your breasts and back hurt as well as potentially bleeding through your pants because periods can come unexpectedly especially for younger women and you don't remember to pack extra supplies and then you're screwed and people are so insensitive about it.
That's not what I meant-. It's okay to understand other's pain at times before judging them. I'm not saying they have to force themselves into it. It's their own will
To be fair, getting kicked in the balls also makes to fall to the ground and be paralyzed from pain. So it seems like they are probably similar but I've never done this so I have no clue.

My cramps were painful to the point where they were debilitating. It was agony to the point where I was throwing up and passing out. Not to mention the back and leg pain, the very heavy bleeding, the sore boobs, the mood swings, the headaches. Painkillers did absolutely nothing. I ended up having to go on birth control because I was missing so much school and work as I was in so much pain that I couldn’t move for the first few days of my period. I cannot tell you the amount of times I was told to ‘just deal with it’ or that ‘it’s normal’.
I totally understand, i was home and didnt moves or eat for almost 4 days, i barely drank water and i passed out twice. Most painkillers dont work on me but i now Use one called Naproxen Mylan and it works. I just get more tired and naseous. If you havent tried it i would suggest
Me too. Took me several years to get my endo diagnosis because of that reasoning. I got put on birth control, and even still, I have these times on occasion. Why people just let women have this pain, I'll never understand.
I relate, I have endometriosis and PCOS and when I was 13 I also had pre-cancer in my uterus. My pain was so uncontrollable, I had to be on homebound schooling for months while they did surgery after surgery for the pre-cancer. I still struggle with all of this today..
Not just the stomach sometimes even your breast, back, thigh hurts and the blood is a lot and we are so emotional that we cry even for no reason. Everything feels so overwhelming. Hugs for all girls out there who experience this every month.

it also hurts in the lower back and can radiate down the groin into the thighs. Due to the release of prostaglandins that affect smooth musculature, it isnt uncommen to also experience unpleasant bowel movements. The week leading up to the period we become slighty insulin resistant and see heightened levels of cortisol which increase inflammation and often shows up as breakouts on skin or bloating and headaches 🎉
Remember, if the pain is hindering your daily live (so instead of just discomfort and occasional bouts of some pain: not being able to think normally, walk normally, concentrate, or something like that) there might very well be something wrong! Consult a gynaecologist /a doctor that takes your concerns seriously. Even if it happens that nothing is physically wrong, there are things that can help regulate and soften the periods (e.g. birth control pills help some people immensely).

Fr bro. One day I had to wake up to got school. I just got my period the day before that so I was bleeding a lot. When I was the sheets they were full of blood and my mother scrolled me for it. During my first class I wanted to cry so bad I had the worst cramps ever. Then when it was lunch time I didn’t say anything at all. I skipped lunch and breakfast cuz of how bad it felt. I just felt numb

The biggest difference between getting kicked in the jewels and period cramps is that getting a kick is a singular moment of extreme pain that will echo for a while but eventually fade. Period cramps are constant for days on end and return every month :)
And I still have to give presentations in front of the class and act like nothing is happening. I’ve successfully done that while in the middle of having some bad cramps, but I just grit my teeth and balled my hands up in my pockets. I hate my period so much dude.
The fact that i had my period cramps REALLY BAD in the middle of gym class (like to the point where it was really hard for me to move in general) I had to act like nothing was happening and was going to the locker room every 5 min and then still walking out like nothing was happening. Even though that whole thing with it was really hard for me to move it was happening that whole day.
What about getting kicked I. The balls and then getting kicked again after it stops hurting as bad but this time the number of people kicking em doubles
Genuinely appreciate you going straight for it instead of going one level at a time like everyone else, because sometimes these cramps are sudden like that
Once I was in science class and got hit with the worst cramps I’ve ever had. We were supposed to be researching stuff but I was just squatting and trying to not look like I was dying. It was terrible and two guys were just looking at me as if I was crazy.
I always end up sobbing in the fetal position in math class eith the only HORRIBLE math teacher you will ever meet she never let's me go to the bathroom when on my period bro even when I tell her like, what you want me to do. HOLD IT IN?!
As a woman, period cramps are bad. But nothingggg is worse than contractions from giving birth. That’s a different type of pain. Edit: Sorry to some of the ladies who’s period cramps are worse than contractions. I just have never felt sharp pains through my cervix while experiencing cramps. Wasn’t trying to start a debate on whose cramps are worse than whose. Long story short…us women go through hell regardless if it’s once a month, or during/after child birth. Go us for still being able to go to work/school through it all, take care of other kids/our families, and manage not to lash out at people in the process.
It’s the same pain but varying degree of severity, The uterus contracting is not a fun experience. But a lot of period contractions come coupled with stomach cramps from food sensitivities or lack of movement during the period while pregnancy contractions are coupled with a whole ass baby shooting out your vag 😂 so of course nothing could top that

No men say that.
The worst part is going to school/work n being expected to act like everything's normal.
also it is proven to be as painful as a heart attack if not more painful and most girls arnt surprised one bit.

And it lasts several days, don’t forget that part

And it also if your at work or whatever and your in a meeting you have to just sit there and deal with the pain

Period cramps do not hurt as much as getting kicked in the balls ! Its BS !
Or when the pain fades away a little but you know it will come back even worse. Like getting run over by a train.

@@thenucleargator3580I’m sorry but do you get kicked in the balls for an entire week every month?

The Elmo punch was quite accurate. Period cramps hurt so much you would punch Elmo.
“I have my doubts” then you literally died-
But bro I got football hit in my balls full force and couldn't walk for 2 days 🫨

when he gets kicked dude finna drop kekw
I knew as long as he said, I have my doubts it was going to be painful
For real
What about getting kicked I. The balls and then getting kicked again after it stops hurting as bad but this time the number of people kicking em doubles
Genuinely appreciate you going straight for it instead of going one level at a time like everyone else, because sometimes these cramps are sudden like that
Oh when they hit you while you're walking. Lol
Last week, I woke up in the middle of the night, feeling like someone was trying to snatch my uterus out of my body.
Once I was in science class and got hit with the worst cramps I’ve ever had. We were supposed to be researching stuff but I was just squatting and trying to not look like I was dying. It was terrible and two guys were just looking at me as if I was crazy.
I’ll never forget the time in middle school where the teacher called my name and I was in the fetal position on the ground crying.
I always end up sobbing in the fetal position in math class eith the only HORRIBLE math teacher you will ever meet she never let's me go to the bathroom when on my period bro even when I tell her like, what you want me to do. HOLD IT IN?!
I once jumped out of my chair from how bad it was
Fr tho this happens to me a lot
Girl I’m so sorry
As a woman, period cramps are bad. But nothingggg is worse than contractions from giving birth. That’s a different type of pain.
Edit: Sorry to some of the ladies who’s period cramps are worse than contractions. I just have never felt sharp pains through my cervix while experiencing cramps. Wasn’t trying to start a debate on whose cramps are worse than whose.
Long story short…us women go through hell regardless if it’s once a month, or during/after child birth. Go us for still being able to go to work/school through it all, take care of other kids/our families, and manage not to lash out at people in the process.
Agreed ♥️💯
It’s the same pain but varying degree of severity, The uterus contracting is not a fun experience. But a lot of period contractions come coupled with stomach cramps from food sensitivities or lack of movement during the period while pregnancy contractions are coupled with a whole ass baby shooting out your vag 😂 so of course nothing could top that
Idk man… stubbing your toe is pretty bad to
No kidding...and that "Ring of Fire" would take a man out.
Exactly try giving birth with no pain relief
Plus major back pain, and don't forget - it's sustained pain. random wake up calls to feel that pain and nauseous on top of it. for days.
Shoot even the lingering numbing pain going down to the mid inner thigh. Thee worst. 😢
I personally don’t get any back pain
I don't have periods yet and i knew it wasn't going to be fun but now i know it's even worse than I thought 😀
@@Swiftwolf_don’t let it be something scary for you young lady. Everyone’s is different. Just don’t be afraid to talk to an older trusted woman in your life; mom, older sister, aunt, or grandma if you have one, even a school nurse or a friend’s mom. And when you start getting your visits from “Aunt Rose” one of the best things you can do is be prepared. Take a grocery bag and put a change of clothes (jeggings, undies, and a light shirt, along with pads and any other period products you might need. Put an extra plastic grocery bag in there for any soiled clothes.) Throw your emergency bag into your locker until a day comes along when you need it. Don’t forget to replace it!
Thanks for the kind words! I really apprietie the reassurence!@@alimaloney218
