    Having had multiple sclerosis since 1999, and I’m completely bedridden for over 10 years. I have from my neck up works and I have a little bit left arm use with one finger on my left hand hand. So I could get rid of multiple sclerosis? That sounds a little far-fetched. And I eat. Everything you have listed that’s good I don’t eat any sugar gluten or dairy.

    How about the EBV connection? Seems like an infection with EBV is one of the main triggers - does EBV impact the gut also? EBV seems to hide out in the CNS and when the immune system tries to get rid of the virus it also mistakenly starts attacking itself since they are so intermingled. What we really need is a way to calm down EBV / get rid of it for good :/ Sadly once we catch it it stays dormant in all of us for the rest of our lives. Perhaps makes sense because stress / other infections are known to be the main triggers for MS flares. I imagine stress / infections/ poor diet leads to an inflamed immune system that just wants to attack leading to more brain / spine damage. But indeed leaky gut / dysbiosis is probably a decent chunk of the problem. Sadly I was diagnosed earlier this year, male around 26 yrs and already blind in one eye from MS :/ I find it strange because I am a vegetarian, never smoked, don't drink, exercise etc did everything right :(

    • @Sbannmarie
      @Sbannmarie Рік тому +1

      Maybe being a vegetarian is the problem

    • @__Wanderer
      @__Wanderer Рік тому +5

      @@Sbannmarie right... vegetarian diets have actually been shown to have lower relapse rates for those with MS. Prior to diagnosis there is zero correlation with a vegetarian diet and MS. On the contrary, dairy and consumption of fast foods seem to lead to a higher chance of developing MS.

      @@Sbannmarie Dr. Wahls took heavy chemo drugs prior to going into remission... so yeah was it the food or the hardcore drugs that caused her improvement? That being said, eating a healthy diet as she suggests is good for everybody. It certainly isn't going to cure anything though.

      @@__Wanderer Hi Alice here
      I am doing good today. Every day is a new day. Many days emotion are all over the place. I decided to fight for my life. It’s ok to cry. Just one day you will be more motivated to do a little day by day. I remember the beginning of my battle I lost sight in my left eye. Today there are meds out there to help you with that. I take my meds as the Dr says.
      Ocrevus infusion is what I am taking now. I am very pleased with it. I hope you get to feeling better real soon.

      @@__Wanderer I am very sorry to hear you have MS.
      I have been on many meds. Just about all that they have out there. Some worked short term. Infusion and chemotherapy. I have been scared out of my wits. There are so many side effects. That you will have to deal with or live with. I am in a better place of mind now. I have gotten a strong relationship with my Heavenly Father. Now I understand better. I am able to handle the stressors that comes with a chronic illness. I am presently taking an infusion called Ocrevus. I have been on it for about 2 years. I am finally getting my life back. My children and grandchildren have been with me through the entire process. I am grateful and thankful for God giving me children and grandchildren that care.,
