I absolutely love the thought of savoring/appreciating the little things. After my husband passed I started a journal, writing down one thing that I was grateful for every day. It helped me to focus on the small positive thing instead of being overwhelmed by grief.

I love the idea of a list for each season - it’s so true that time just flies by. I’ve moved back to my home city and I want to explore it more than I did before but it’s easy to get caught up in other things. Starting my list now and will be looking into events. Your videos always make me feel peaceful, they’re like talking to a friend 💕
I feel the exact same way about summer 😢 so I love the idea of a list for fall so that I make sure I get everything done that I want to. I really do feel like your channel accomplishes exactly what you are trying to do. You have a way of making me feel hopeful and positive even on bad days. Love your videos!

Aw thank you 🥰 I know the feeling, it can be a struggle for me too sometimes! When that's the case for me I try to 1. make extra when cooking so that I have enough for the next few days. That way I have homemade food but I'm not cooking every day of the week 😊 2. I majorly simplify things. I use fewer ingredients, opt for a store bought sauce, and rely heavily on pantry and freezer staples to make things as quick + easy as possible. Or 3. I think of something that I really enjoy cooking. Something that is fun to make, smells amazing when it's cooking, and makes me feel good. The more cozy and enjoyable the process, the better. For me that's anything with rosemary, white wine, and roasted veggies. Hope that helps! Thanks for letting me know that you like my videos. That really means a lot to me 🥰 ❤️

It's been 5 days since you posted this video, but I didn't have time to watch sooner. I usually watch them a lot sooner after they come out, but I woke up grumpy today and hearing you talk about about what you do in this situation got me emotional and it really helped me. This seasonal to-do list thing…👌🏼👌🏼genius Niki!!! I had this idea too a few days ago actually because here I am in the beginning of September barely buying flip flops and trying to track down the last available watermelon in the country. 🙄
I’m from CO and I’ve always wanted to take the haunted tour at the infamous Stanley Hotel from The Shining in Estes park and particularly during what is called “Elk Week.” The entire little city is just surrounded by elk peacefully roaming around trying to find a mate.❤ I think that should be a must-do fall activity for anyone living or traveling to CO!

When you said your skin gets congested I immediately thought of the rag with hot water trick!! I've been doing that after massaging my skin with oil and my skin feels so clean now! Also I did the grated tofu trend as a "pulled pork" sandwich and really enjoyed it more than jackfruit!!

Oh i ve been enjoying fall recipes since two weeks ago, im in the South Texas are and were in the 100 degree temperature with a heat index of 115. So i m sweating eating chili 😅. I opened my pumpkin coffee creamer this morning. Yes
hahaha I love this! I'm the same way lol We got a heatwave last week and it's been in the 90s while I've been decorating for Fall and making pumpkin spice oatmeal 😂

You influenced me! After seeing your post on IG, I rewatched It’s Complicated because I didn’t remember the drink. I was so surprised you caught it at all, it was such a quiet part of the scene! I tired a version of it with Waterloo Black Cherry and cherry refreshing for the hot East coast weather!
