Can’t wait to read. One of the things that has always impressed me about you Nikki, is that everything is genuine. People make fun of vegans endlessly. Something I missed saying……….changing how you eat can be a process. When a plant based recipe tastes good, looks good and is satisfying it can be the thing that may make someone eat more plant based. And if it is accessible and easy to make, as you said in your video, that is the way to go. It can be a continuum, and that can be a good thing too. Every small step helps. Food is your love language and how you share with your family and friends. Great food with family and friends is what memories are made of.
I got this for Christmas from my mom and when we looked through it she said "they all look so beautiful! And she looks so sweet, the sweetness just shines through!!"

I just pre-ordered it! I am much older than you and I have been vegan for many many years. Back in my day....haha...there was no UA-cam or social media or barely the internet and I relied solely on vegan recipes in magazines or vegan cookbooks, which in my early 20s, I was not rushing out to buy. My now 22yr old son was always showing me videos on UA-cam when he was a teenager said that I should check out UA-cam and watch videos that have topics that interest me. I ended up following a handful of vegan UA-cam channels, but your channel is one I have stayed dedicated to over the years. I have made and have been inspired by so many of your recipes and I cannot wait to dive into your cookbook! I am so proud and excited for you! Thank you for all you do and keeping this "older" vegan inspired to make healthy, creative and delicious food!❤

I love that you thought of all the little details like decorating ideas, a grocery list, and prepping ahead! Such great touches -- and to be honest, I'd expect nothing less from you, as you always put such care into your recipes and videos! Also LOVE that each recipe will have a photo, because I'm always disappointed when recipes are missing photos! I definitely don't have a big enough apartment to have a dinner party, but I can't wait to check out the book to get some inspiration even if only for myself. And it will give me something to look forward to when I do have the capacity to host! Congratulations on your first book, it is such a well-deserved achievement!

i don't know if you have tried Thrive Market's Maple Syrup's...i have not tried them, but remember having flavor infused maple syrup at a restaurant when i was little, like blueberry, and even though it was probably artificial back then, i remember it being good...Thrive has a few infused syrups in case you wanted to try or buy them as Christmas gifts, but they are a bit pricey...There's the sample pack with 4, 2 oz bottles, and they have those flavors in 8 oz. bottles too...Blueberry, Cinnamon and Vanilla Bean, Amber, and Bourbon (barrels)....They also have a Pumpkin Spice in 8 oz., which is probably only seasonal...i don't see the Amber in 8 oz for some reason though...🍓🎄
