What do you guys think of switching an EFNOTE module to a g5 module (I know I'd need a diff hi hat) if my main struggle is the Efnote sounds just don't stand up to heavy guitars in a mix.

It could be worth a try. The G5 is certainly very different sounding than the EFNOTE. We have a G5 module in stock if you want to try it out.

one trigger in the centre.? is that a problem with hotspots ?

It seems to play well with other pads and cymbals so far. We hadn't tried it with everything yet though. Did you have a specific pad you were hoping it would work with?
