Before spending money on something like this I would *STRONGLY* suggest examining DarkStar Manufacturing. It is a similar type of mod that gives a very comprehensive expansion to the crafting of weapons, suits, apparel, and more. It is very well balanced, extremely reliable, the author, Wykkyd, is very active in supporting and updating the mod and has one of the more active modding Discord channels. It is very much a DLC level mod. Oh, yeah. It is also *free*. And it is by the same guy who gave us DarkStar Astrodynamics for which you gave a glowing review.
Had to stop watching about halfway through. Not your fault CF. More about the lack of "how to" info associated with this mod. And that it is a paid mod with such lack of information is a no go for me. I'll come back to this sometime when it is better thought out and eliminates the guesswork on finding resources and such. Which means once more looking at your vids on these new mods are so very helpful. Glad I checked this out before paying for this mod. I'll wait and see if this gets sorted out. Thanks!

The mining conglomerate hasn’t been updated at all, but they took the money and had time to release another paid one. Same with Starfield Compendium, no updates, still incomplete, erroneous, and barely usable but they released another paid mod that adds, get ready for it, an arrow that points at stars from afar. Yeah, an arrow, for 200 creds. This is getting ridiculous! You should call them out!
The stunning effect is probably for bounty hunting with the Trackers Alliance. I actually do like this mod and $2 isn't bad considering this mod is useful throughout the entire game play. I do like the fact that backgrounds and traits are also added. Way better than some of the way overpriced mods. I still would prefer to donate or pay the mod authors directly for paid mods. Buying these through Bethesda doesn't sit right with me. If Bethesda gave everyone the Vultures quest and some other Bethesda exclusive mods my opinion may have changed. I love Starfield but honestly If mods we're available I probably would have put it down a while ago. I think Bethesda did take a step backwards when it comes to certain aspects we came to love with Bethesda open world games. Not trying to be picky but this video is very blurry for some reason. Im glad you read everything word for word because I couldn't read any of it. Thank you for the review! Its great that you take the time to show us before players actually purchase these. Also you take a lot of the leg work out of it for us to figure certain things out that would just be aggravating to figure out.
Iv found 8 ores so far … they seem to be in uc listening post , science labs . And u get more chance of u complete these places during main quest run through
The latest batch of paid mods is actually shocking, I'm dumbfounded how such low quality effort passes whatever regulation there is in place for these things. At least the old earth weapon pack has some effort put into it (given they are custom made brand new weapons) but the other ones should have never ever been paid mods. Paid mods in general will do so much significant harm to the community, especially long term. But my god at least put some amount of effort into it.
I can understand not liking or wanting these paid mods, but I dont really see how they will cause issues to the game as a whole. They are all completely optional and aren't required by any stretch of the imagination. I personally think third-party paid mods are a better way for bethesda to do monetisation than the usual microtransactions you seen sprinkled in other games
"Any modification to the 'Boss Chest' will require a patch. I believe that the Legendary Recycler mod makes such a modification. Thanks for the review. I don't think that I need a mod that makes Extreme into Hard. Best wishes to the mod author(s).
@@CrimsonFlyboy Hi! Just wanted to say that's totally understandable, it's just sort of the nature of the beast with anything that extends a particular faction. If you are interested, I did some testing and found things seem to work fine if you use a console command to add yourself to the fleet: "player.addtofaction 10b30 0" And then you can get the benefits of recovering Kryx's Legacy by using "completequest 1ef7f1" so you can get the extra discounts, vendor inventory, and the missions from the Barchanik. I also built in a test quest you can start with "startquest xx00FB6F" where the xx is the load order index, that'll spawn all the altered POIs but I couldn't get it to force them to spawn as Crimson Fleet POIs so it can take a few tries to get them. The missions are available from the Abandoned Weapon Station and Abandoned Hangar locations but I think everything is worth checking out, the Chop n Shops all look a little different, too. I get that the process is a bit inconvenient for testing, the idea behind the mod is you'd normally discover it naturally, particularly when you get missions sending you after pirates despite being a Fleet member. My goal was to make it a bit less disappointing to join the Fleet, maybe even a little enticing. I have some ideas to make it easier to access this stuff, but it's going to be a bit to decide what really works and get a patch out. If you're still not interested, I don't blame you, nothing is appealing to everybody. Just keep the great vids coming and I'll keep watching!

For modular arsenal I asked the mod author could I make a laser weapon using the cutters ammo pool with this mod... He said no they Intentionally left laser weapons alone... Me thinking huh... There are already enough ballistic weaponry in starfield and not enough Laser weaponry
If nefarious doesn't refer to the Trade Authority you could try the Red Mile. I know they'll sell some basic smuggling tech. If that doesn't work, maybe they mean you can find it in those dark Contraband containers found in certain cave PoIs. Edit: I'm not sure you covered the Positively Charged trait, deal +25% elemental damage but receive +25% elemental damage.
@CrimsonFlyboy Do you know if the NEW $3.00 Blackstone Bunker mod is any good? I was looking at it and from the photos it looks great. But once again there are no photos of it from the outside so the player has no idea how it looks from the outside.
The modder should not be releasing a 2nd release in stages paid mod. The still have not released next part of the mining Sim. If they ever complete what's promised the mining one will be worth it.

BSW is really allowing the reputation of paid creations and therefore their long-term earning potentioal to be ruined by allowing half effort, incomplete or outright nonfunctioning/game breaking mods to be sold in their store. If these practices continue they will ruin the reputation of paid third-party mods completely and ppl will no longer take a risk on them which will eventrually lead to less $$$ for everyone involved. I was buying just abt everything in the beginning, but I've learned my lessons the hard way. There have been many awesome mods but I've also been burned several times too, which is why CF's efforts are so invaluable to the community.

You really need to start reading ALL the text. MBMs it clearly says "then finds a new target". Your test environment was wrong if you wanted to see the "move to next target" effect. I've seen you make this mistake in other vids too - not noticing what is written quite clearly on the screen.

An interesting mod, I think what sold me was your use of Simeon as a Lab Rat.
Also, try checking with the Trade Authority vendors. They are the most nefarious people I know outside of the Crimson Fleet

I've found the ores in cargo holds of taken over ships. I'm stuck on these other materials.

While cool there are already free mods on Nexus that do the same thing for free with out "flavor text"
One thing to remember is xbox players don't get access to nexus mods. That'd why I focus on just creations so that everyone can make use of them
