I agree GrayWolf, the movie mask was not a complete Circle but it was definitely rounder than the Part 3 and 4 mask. usually for my own displaying of the figure I'll swap in the Retro Cloth Part 6 Jason mask and it seems to do a pretty good job for the size and the shape though it does sit pretty loose on his head. This is my fave look for Jason and my favorite Friday movie. I actually like the gloves and tool belt, it’s very practical for Jason to have. I have a soft spot for human Jason in Part 3, but I always felt like zombie Jason was even scarier.

On the reissue figures I purchased they forgot or neglected to paint his exposed wrists and that really irritates me, I noticed yours are painted, mine must be a later run where they are now starting to cut corners to save costs. Still I love this and all of my Jason figures, can't wait to receive my part 7 figures next month! Love your reviews they are very thorough!

This is just my opinion, but I'm happy and content with the original Friday the 13th Part VI Jason Lives Jason Voorhees figure. A big reason for that is the hockey mask, which looks better on the original figure. Otherwise, thanks again Spot. I really appreciate it!
I met the guy that plays Jason VI! CJ Graham, I've been to his house (old house, in Arizona. He moved). My dad met him by delivering propane to him, told him that we are fans and set up a little meeting for the rest of my family (my mom and me) to meet him. He gave us a signed movie poster, it's framed and was previously hung in a casino I think. As well as a few signed pictures of a scene where Jason breaks a guy's back on the ground, CJ told us that was his personal favorite scene, and explained how it was filmed. The guy that was on the ground was actually 2 guys, one with his bottom half underground and the other with his top half underground, or something. Anyways they were joined together to make it look like Jason had snapped a guy's back. He had horses, too. Anyways I'm a big fan and I'm definitely purchasing this figure.
It's interesting to see how many changes they made. I prefer the older head but the new body also. The mask always needs to be reshaped also. Thanks for the review/compared.

After this analysis I looked at mine that I got in 2019 and he's actually mixed with both that you have here the mask is solid but some of the colors are like the reissue..anf some of tue older..I think it went through a lot of changes over the years
The only thing about Custom work is that they are too expensive for me, I mean they're in US dollars a lot of the time, I'm paying in Canadian so its another third the price on top of what they're selling them for, Ive seen some really sick custom Sixth scale figures out there by talented artists selling for like 1500, with shipping and exchange that would likely set me back about 2200, just don't have that kind of money to spend on a custom as nice as they may look

I emailed NECA on a few mediums.. how can i find out which is the repaint/ re-issue when ordering one? Amazaon and ebaay usually show the front of a generic stock photo..
Most of the time Neca will keep the original pictures of the figures original release instead of the reissue unless it’s a new box or new promo pictures of the figure out of the box example would be the neca 1984 godzilla. Where it had the original promo figure but it has a new box. My best advice is too wait until Walmart or Target has it in there shelves or wait until they restock
I have yet to find out an easy way to know with version a figure is, I mean you can go by the copyright year on the box but that doesn't really help much if you're ordering blindly on the internet, some sites will actually be helpful and put the listing up as "Re issue" which was the case when I bought the re issues of Part 4 and Part 6 without that yeah I'd really have no idea whether its a new release or just old stock they're still trying to sell Victor btw wanted to ask you Victor, are you able to see all my new videos showing up in your subscription feed? have heard from a couple of viewers they aren't seeing the newer ones popping up?

Yeah you might be getting the Notification Glitch from UA-cam, so a way to fix it so you're seeing the videos again on the channel is to unsub to this channel and then subscribe again and turn on the bell notifications, you should be seeing everything again like you did before, let me know if that works ok? thanks for replying

i'm confused on whats a reissue....so they stopped manufacturing these and then re released them? i thought they were just still in production.......one of the longest produced figures seemed to be that ultimate leatherface but now i'm thinking thats just a re issue too?
A re-issue means that a company will re-release a figure with changes and/or improvements. A company will also re-release a figure (produce a 2nd run) due to popularity and high demand. That can especially be helpful for those who missed out on a figure's initial release.

@@TooviKira Thanks. I guess what's throwing me off, and it sounds odd to say, but the only way I can tell which I have, is to check the painting (if still enclosed) of the figure in the box? There's no way to tell from packaging, the difference? If so, that's cool, I just find that odd.
Yeah the original just had more of the paint on the face aspect of Jasons head under the mask, they painted alot more of the skull the white instead of what they did with the re issue here and left a lot of the face that same dark mossy green. One way to tell elisha is to check out the face underneath the mask if they painted a lot of the skull bone then you might have the original, where as the re issue they left a lot of that off and made his face mostly a dark green colour like the one in this video, hope that helps? btw wanted to ask you, are you able to see all my new videos showing up in your subscription feed? have heard from a couple of viewers they aren't seeing the newer ones popping up?

God… I hate this figure. I bought the re issue and it has awful quality. The mask is the worst part, as it isn’t hard plastic like EVERY figure I have from NECA. A hockey mask is hard, not soft. Anyways, I also cannot connect his fence post parts together, which may I add I’d like to display him with. His skull parts not being painted piss me off as well. Overall, least favorite figure of all. Wouldnt recommend buying the reissue.
Did you ever have the original Ultimates Part 6 Jason Alijah or you only were able to get the re issue? I think there's some things I like about the re issue but overall I think the original version handled it better

I actually found that interesting. This Jason in part 6 is the only one who wears a utility belt with his weapons on to it

Buy custom if you can afford it.. these artists put their heart and soul into each one.

Yeah that fence post connection is way too brittle, I think my re issue hasn't suffered but yeah the original one I had snapped and just ultimately glued it together. I emailed NECA on a few mediums.. how can i find out which is the repaint/ re-issue when ordering one? Amazaon and ebaay usually show the front of a generic stock photo..
Most of the time Neca will keep the original pictures of the figures original release instead of the reissue unless it’s a new box or new promo pictures of the figure out of the box example would be the neca 1984 godzilla. Where it had the original promo figure but it has a new box. My best advice is too wait until Walmart or Target has it in there shelves or wait until they restock
I have yet to find out an easy way to know with version a figure is, I mean you can go by the copyright year on the box but that doesn't really help much if you're ordering blindly on the internet, some sites will actually be helpful and put the listing up as "Re issue" which was the case when I bought the re issues of Part 4 and Part 6 without that yeah I'd really have no idea whether its a new release or just old stock they're still trying to sell Victor

Yeah you're right, best advice is really just to shop for the figure in person where you can actually see, most retailers I would imagine aren't keeping around figures long on pegs if they are they'd be marking them down cause they're not selling, thats been the case with my wanting to get the reissue 2018 Michael Myers, unless I know a site has just stocked them I'm not going to guess on whether they've got new figures in now or just trying to clear out their inventory

Ok I got the reissue and I like it, just glad it's not fake.
Yeah I heard from some collectors that they thought they got a KO because of the paint missing in the head, then they saw this one in the video and realized it was just the re issue, sometimes its really hard to tell especially if you're ordering these online and can't see them in person.

Yeah you might be getting the Notification Glitch from UA-cam, so a way to fix it so you're seeing the videos again on the channel is to unsub to this channel and then subscribe again and turn on the bell notifications, you should be seeing everything again like you did before, let me know if that works ok? thanks for replying

i'm confused on whats a reissue....so they stopped manufacturing these and then re released them? i thought they were just still in production.......one of the longest produced figures seemed to be that ultimate leatherface but now i'm thinking thats just a re issue too?
A re-issue means that a company will re-release a figure with changes and/or improvements. A company will also re-release a figure (produce a 2nd run) due to popularity and high demand. That can especially be helpful for those who missed out on a figure's initial release.

If this is the "Reissue" (Ultimate), what is the "Original" that is spoken of?
Part 6 never had a none ultimate version, the re issue is just the original part 6 with better paint jobs and such.
@@TooviKira Thanks. I guess what's throwing me off, and it sounds odd to say, but the only way I can tell which I have, is to check the painting (if still enclosed) of the figure in the box? There's no way to tell from packaging, the difference? If so, that's cool, I just find that odd.

Yeah the original just had more of the paint on the face aspect of Jasons head under the mask, they painted alot more of the skull the white instead of what they did with the re issue here and left a lot of the face that same dark mossy green. One way to tell elisha is to check out the face underneath the mask if they painted a lot of the skull bone then you might have the original, where as the re issue they left a lot of that off and made his face mostly a dark green colour like the one in this video, hope that helps? btw wanted to ask you, are you able to see all my new videos showing up in your subscription feed? have heard from a couple of viewers they aren't seeing the newer ones popping up?

This re issue sucks, the mask looks even much worse and they EVEN DECIDED TO NOT PAINT THE FACE!!
Yeah I do think the original release handled the face sculpt a lot better, you've got some decent bone colours added in there to break it up a bit, the reissue comes across a little more like Moss like his face is made out of swamp moss or something, as for the hockey mask a lot of the time I'm just displaying the figure with the Retro Cloth Jason mask from part 6 because at least its bigger and rounder

God… I hate this figure. I bought the re issue and it has awful quality. The mask is the worst part, as it isn’t hard plastic like EVERY figure I have from NECA. A hockey mask is hard, not soft. Anyways, I also cannot connect his fence post parts together, which may I add I’d like to display him with. His skull parts not being painted piss me off as well. Overall, least favorite figure of all. Wouldnt recommend buying the reissue.
Did you ever have the original Ultimates Part 6 Jason Alijah or you only were able to get the re issue? I think there's some things I like about the re issue but overall I think the original version handled it better
