The biggest difference is in the Halloween figurine (there are completely different sculptures) see new reissue
I think the reissue looks more like the dream sequence from the beginning of the film, whereas the first release more closely resembles the hallucinations Tommy has throughout the film. I’m not sure I’ll buy the reissue, but it does look good.

The dark brown grey hand (with the black nails) is an improvement and more screen-accurate.
The lighter coloured handle ice-pick looks like a car's gear stick. 🤣
The original release figure (less wet looking) looks better than the reissue, imo.

The original mask is really my favorite
I personally like the original figure rather than the new one, sure there are some debatably better things about the new one but I like a lot of the original.
The one I have is from 2021... i have to dig him out and compare him to these 2 in this video

14:18 I actually like the "excessive" shiny coat. Makes him look soaking wet like he was in the movie. Also makes him look a lot like Jason from part 8. He would make a good base figure for a Jason part 8.

If you have an FYE they typically have Neca
Target has them in my area although Walmart has a little bit that’s where I got my Toony terrors Jason but if you’re looking for a bigger selection I recommend target and I heard Best Buy has neca figures as well
