This is a 2013 pre-debut track. It was reintroduced and modified as part of BTS's anthology. Originally BTS was somewhat disregarded coming from a small corporation and simultaneously somewhat feared by the larger corporations due to their originality and talent. Born Singer like many of their early pre-debut tracks "covered" other hip hop artists. Born Singer, however, has a special place as in 2015 they included a very emotional version in a concert symbolizing their awareness that despite all the shit which was being dumped on them from the outside, all seven felt insulated in their understanding that they were true artists. They sang the entire track in a circle facing each other only turning to the audience during the final chorus to bring them in.

It’s not pre dubute.. when J Cole released Born sinner in 2013 Bangtan really loved it and wrote their own lyrics on it. Then they sang it I think only a month after its release.
Of course the 3 years of hard work they’re talking about are their pre debute days. However it’s been almost 11 years since the song was made!
@@shweta7796 I believe they released it on their 100 days?? after debut. The original lyrics were changed throughout the years as they performed it during different stages of their career. They do not perform this song very often because it is very emotional for them. They are a few hours outside of Las Vegas as they were in Las Vegas for the Grammys and for their concert tour. JCole was a huge influence on Jhope and he is the one who got to meet with him and collab with him. Also, check out the song by BTS Hip Hop Phile/Lover where the rappers discuss their journey to hip hop/rap and specifically Jhope mentions JCole. Thanks for the reaction!

I would definitely recommend BTS' song "Hip Hop Phile/Lover" that they wrote 10 years ago by BTS' rap line (RM, Suga, and J-Hope). This song pays homage to the greats of hip hop and the hip hop artists that inspired them. It's a hidden gem, in my opinion. 💜

I read somewhere that "looking down on" means that they're in the audience and RM is on the stage, which is above. So perhaps not as harsh as it's translated but rather that those who he used to look up to are watching him perform. 😊

All BTS members are in the military. ... now ... is the most difficult period for the army ... we miss them extremely. ...in 2025 they will all be back😢
So sad! Guess it gives me an opportunity to catch up on their old work before they come back!
@@PremierMusicTribethat’s what I thought at the end of 2022 when I came across them. I was clowned though. There has been so much content dropped in the meantime! All of them have dropped solo work and the diversity is mind blowing.
@@PremierMusicTribe There is no such thing as catching up, or if you do you gotta act quick! Even during their service they're still dropping new content that they spent 2023 preparing. Speaking of which RM is releasing a new album Right Place, Wrong Person May 24th 1pm KST with a pre-release track + MV called Come Back to Me May 10th 1pm KST. He's been working with some indie/alt musicians/creatives so we're all really excited to see. He gave us a preview of the pre-release last year when he sang it free-style on stage at Suga concert.

Yes J Cole gave them his permission to release it so it's on one of their albums. J Cole is J Hope (of the the 3 BTS Rappers) Muse.

in 2013, BTS debuted as a HIP HOP IDOL Group. This song was released ijn July of that year as an unofficial song, and Suga used the "3 years" lyric to represent his time pre-debut of BTS. So in actuality, it's been at this point around 10 or so years. I think RM changed his lyric to reflect the time difference.
And J-Cole is J-Hope's Muse. He actually has a song collaboration he did with J-Cole on his song ON THE STREET.

They uploaded the Song on SoundCloud 2 weeks after Born Sinner came out in 2013, it was like a week after their debut. They always had a Connection to Cole, they used his songs for mixtapes, J-Hope name and his first Solo project is a play on Cole World, of course on the Street with J-Hope and J-Cole, and Hopes recent Song also samples Work out by Jermaine.
Definitely check out their 1st live performance of this because it's so raw & emotional back then too. You can totally see it during their live performance. 😭💜🎶

Outro Tear, Ugh, and Ddaeng are the BTS songs I recommend for rap lovers - they're songs by just the 3 rappers in the group. Each of their solo hiphop albums are great too. I'd start with Haegeum by Agust D (aka Suga), he wrote, composed and produced it entirely by himself.
Also BTS was personally mentored by people like Warren G and Coolio, they went to LA to be trained in hip-hop. They filmed their experience in the show American Hustle Life.

I think they were somewhere near Las Vegas. LOve the setting, love this song. By the way, the BTS members also love this song so much. Oh their passion. For me this performance marked the beginning of a new era for them. Since then, they started doing their amazing solo projects and soon they will be together again. It is going to be extraordinary.

Yes we filmed 30 minutes from my house outside Barstow California.during there Vegas concert which I went too.should watch the whole performances had a guest star.
