what a tutorial i have been looking for... finally i found it. Sir please ho can you animate these rigged model in the level sequencer? i have spent days on days still cannot get it right. Pls help. Thanks and YESSS i subscribed
@@LeafBranchGames thank you so much… it will so much help. These vigilante vehicles are super awesome but it can ONLY be utilized well so far in games but I think they forget to think about us non gamers but film makers. Pls boss. Thanks
Should be fairly straightforward to just add the actors to your sequence and animate them like normal. If you want to hook in some extra functionality like having the vehicles fire using blueprint or similar, you can look at this tutorial on how events can be used: ua-cam.com/video/_12OBDLAMFI/v-deo.html
Is here somebody who knows how licenses apply to these models ? Because they are real world models, do you need to ask each and every manufacturer for permission for your commercial project ? Thanks
That is a very good point. The assets themselves are put on the marketplace and you are free to use them however you like. But like you say, they are based on real vehicles by companies that might have an issue with it. I would like to know this myself now.
Thank you for the information! It makes sense I suppose. The assets are made of real brands of military products, which means that they would be the ones with final say on it, not Vigilante.
@LeafBranchGames I like these assets created by Vigilante,. really good and works fine on Unreal, I created a cool sim project,. and i don't want to lost my work time on it. its took a lot to build it. So im asking here again. is that gonna be happend if i want a custom model?
@@LeafBranchGames I finally got there. Just pressing the play button. But it doesnt allow the model to keep as a static mesh the way I want it to look like. I´m learning UE5 on my way. Sorry for my poor english...
They are available on the marketplace for free, so they should be available under the license agreement that is connected to the marketplace. But it is good that you make sure, and if you want to be absolutely informed, make sure to check if the authors of the assets mention any license limitations.
I love the games world of warship, world of tanks, world of tanks blitz and war thunder, I started studying unreal this year, and I really want to learn to pilot, tanks, planes, helicopters and create a war map with the possibility of battles with machine guns and launching bombs and missiles, if you can teach us I would be grateful, hugs and thank you
Those are very popular games. Creating that is no easy task, you need to learn a lot of different things to achieve it. I have made tutorials on some of those topics before and I will have some more in the future as well.
The Problem is the Size of the Tanks between Real Player Models you Need real Tank Size to Player Look the t80 its Not so small in Reality And If you have some doors the Player model should can Pass this doors
can You Make A video For Type of Vehecle for using in Game , like 4Wheel without Guns , with Guns , Trucks with 6 wheels , Planes cargo and Fighter , Helicopters No need of floaters now , it would be helpful for people who are studggling to work with these great assets ( I am struggling from 1month still dont know how to use a tank) Hope You make
@@LeafBranchGames after setting everything up according to chaos vehicle setup and try to play the vehicle just freezes in midair and won't move no matter what.
@@djtc2093 That doesn't necessarily limit the use. A static mesh is for example going to be the same in UE4 as in UE5, there is no difference. So you can still convert a UE4 project to UE5. Things that might fail to work are things like blueprint code or plugins etc. Raw assets should for the most part be ok.
@@LeafBranchGames If you could help I'd be so appreciative because I have been trying to get the APC working for about 10 days now, super frustrating. Any chance you could run me through it? Driveable and shootable.
You are like the only other dev I've seen talking about these amazing Vigilante assets!!!
They have sort of flown under the radar for many I suppose. :)
very informative thank you !
You are very welcome. :)
It would be revolutionary if a game like rigging was developed with unreal engine 5
How can you make these drivable? Could you make a tutorial please?
Sure, I will put it on my list.

How to use them in UE5?

@@gd360video4 Ok. You may have an easier time learning UE4 until UE5 is production ready since you may run into a lot of bugs and issues in UE5.
How to access the portion where you can control the rotation and damaged status?
It is all available in the blueprint for the vehicle. There are events set up that rotates and changes into damaged mesh.
