This has been a mod for spt for the longest time lol. Not a dig at you or anything, it's just insane how much of the promised features of bsg have been mods for a while now. Anything from hazardous zones, radiation, fun AI to fight.. Of course the development of mods is different from an actual full game, but still
Agreed, I just wish it wasn't at the top of the list, my muscle memory for inspecting things is making it annoying to have at the top, I'd rather wish list be near the bottom considering it isn't a time sensitive thing compared to looting

@@scarshe5978 You're being pedantic. They just happen to have made it a separate .exe. It's the same game. How you launch it is irrelevant. They didn't build the physics from scratch or the models or any of the game logic. They re-used 99% of the game and added a game mode. That's it. Could be a separate .exe or a separate menu item in the game. Either way, it's a game mode.
compared to a year ago there has been a bunch of quality of life improvements though, while arena breakout probably did push them a little more, its not like it made them start working on these things.
On certain maps they kind of killed PVE with this update. Most people were complaining that the PMC AIs shouldn't teaming up with the scavs since they can be a bit too cracked, along with the fast respawn rate. Now the moment you shoot one they all know where you are. Worse still, in maps like interchange, you can't loot bodies since the respawn rate is so quick, I had a fight outside Kiba and I didn't have the time to even loot dogtags, let alone repack my mags and fix my blacked out arm. I had to leave after using 360 rounds of ammo on my M4 (+30 scav kills, 7 PMCs) all the while dealing with the drop in fps, mine was 30fps in the middle of interchange, down from 60ish. The intense fights are nice, but the respawn rate needs to be toned way down. they shouldn't be respawning mid/end of fights.
The biggest problem right now is that sometimes bosses spawn in EVERY raid. Also, if you spawn solo, the AI PMCs will usually still spawn as 2-3 groups of 4 or 5 stacks. Makes winning fights really hard
Wow. What @Spideryote just mentioned; so BSG are basically adding features to EFT that were first added by modders for SPT-AKI. The 'wishlist' is basically the 'More Checkmarks' mod available for SPT that tags an item so you know when you find it in raid, it's something you want / need and know to pick it up. Also, the Scavs looting now is the same as the 'Looting Bots' SPT mod.
i have no idea why people got excited for PVE mode when SPT has been doing it for years and much better than the base game. BSG is so slow with updates and they will never catch up to the content of SPT so what is the actual point of not playing SPT over PVE mode?

Just had a major bug. I have a ton of stuff in my stash insured as I feel most people do. Went into first raid of the patch. Died to Tagilla in factory. Go back to my stash, all my insured items are now no longer insured....
Insurance runs out after XYZ time. Always. If you insure your entire stash go on a week long vacation and come back none of your still will be insured! Same for insurance when stuff actually comes back. You have XYZ time to get it back from the trader otherwhise everything is gone!
@@ghstproject That may be true but there were literally items I insured right before that after coming back from that raid were no longer insured. It is definitely a bug. Let alone an entire stash of insured items being not insured anymore after 1 raid.
@ghstproject No, it doesn't. Insurance returns that you haven't collected from the trader will expire, but insured items stay insured until they're lost or left in a raid.
I hope they have systems in place to punish or blacklist people from the reporting system if they report just everyone they die to, hoping to farm report rewards by also randomly reporting actual cheaters
This!!! Ive seen many ppl report every death when its perfectly normal how they got out played but claim HAXORZ. Shits ridiculous and ppl will do exactly what youre saying to try and farm rewards even more so now.
The new ai in pve I have seen are crazy with the scavs once you drop one they start swarming like terminids and it’s not to kill you it’s to get the loot so you can rat the scavs 😂

Saw this earlier at the port in Shoreline. Was shot at a bit while doing spa tour 1, decided to push in. Looted the building of safes, only then heard boot scraping and found a dead body near the bathroom towards the ramp. Triggered a PMC voice line when approaching so they blew their own cover. But still.
I feel like he missed the underlined bit saying pvp will receive the 'necessary mechanics' for AI in the future. To me that means all but the AI PMC specific stuff will eventually be on live servers

Just got ambushed by two PMC bots in PvE in Shoreline/Village. They entered through a back door, went up stairs and waited for me. One tapped me through my seeing holes. Thanks BSG! lol
BSG are so clueless... Why they felt they needed to give us a survey button in the absolute worst location, when we cant even file reports!? And still NO anti-cheat to date... yet here comes a shopping this for the PvE marshmallows

I ran a quick PVE raid to tryout the new locally hosted server, felt super good and didn't have any issues with stability. Also the wishlists for hideout was super nice to see, huge QOL feature.
Fought 2 groups of pmcs with my buddy on streets today. Damn it was a wild ride. They pushed , and cornered us. Still a bit stupid but a lot more unpredictable, which is a good thing.
What is the point of reducing recoil of bolt actions? You still have to wait to cycle the bolt. By the time you're done doing that the recoil is long over.
Did this patch mess with Cultist AI/spawns? Because, I've been trying to get Hell on Earth Pt. 2 done and I can't for the life of me find any damned Cultists....

Lighthouse needs to be on normal Tarkov servers, Local servers for some reason TANKS the frames. 4080, 13700k, 48g ddr5 6400 mz and getting 60 fps on optimal settings is nuts.
Good patch. Saw a lot of bugs and the PMC's are a little scuffed in PvE right now, but the PMC's AI is definitely more aggressive and less predictable. Haven't really seen the AI move from POI to POI, but they do seem to patrol somewhat instead of just standing on the pier on Shoreline wanting to be shot in the face.
Heh I got a gift basic EFT way back 4 or 5 years ago, logged in once and it just got forgotten, then went through Anomaly and GAMMA bender before finding SPT, so my net cost is around 0 [pick your currency]
Also the people wanting pve are complaining now that its too easy and want the ai to be more difficult to play against. So they want it to feel like playing real players but not real players cmon now....

But it's good for everyone who starts playing this and is kinda overwhelmed by the amount of stuff he needs and can find. And idk why they removed the distance bonus on hearing, I mean, someone with a better perception should really have a better perception, right? That's what all the personal character skills are about, to give you and advantage, if your character is more experienced, or not? Idk, sounds to me that a lot of crying happened there beforehand. As usual in this game where a lot of mimimi's clock in, coming from other stupid games, not able to handle tarkovs hardcoreness. PS. I still would love to see a Kar98 in this game as a bolt-action.

The local hosting change to PVE is not good at all tbh, it KILLS your fps just like running an offline raid would. We definitely need a way to disable it if your computer cant handle that load
Totally agree! Furthermore, a lot more issues going into and out of raids because of it! I know a lot of people asked for local servers, but the problems it causes for people who don't mind being online it's makes it 1 step forward 2 steps back. Hopefully in the future we can toggle if we want PvE local or not

So they copied they SPT mods and put them in the game. Totally didn't see that coming at all /s. The reason why they have to use servers for streets is because of client performance problems.
they made the pmc ai broken, triple head tapped from across lumber but a pmc hiding in the trees that i couldn't see on woods by sa-58 m80 ammo. i stopped playing pvp because of this and now the ai aim bot you anyway.
Try SPT-AKI with SAIN, Looting Bots, Questing Bots, and other required mods like Big Brain. I run those with the Realism mod, Fontaine’s FOV Fix, Borkel’s Realistic NVGs, and Backdoor Bandit. More Checkmarks, and Swag+Donuts (allows the player to configure bot spawning) are also good options. There’s mods to alter (or remove) the raid timer, add new weapons, traders, tasks, customization options (clothing, weapon paint), map-to-map travel, gore, etc. as well. IMO it’s far better than the base game, and it’s basically all I play now. You might like it if you give it a shot. You can configure literally almost everything as well if there’s stuff you don’t like, so you can tailor the game to exactly how you want it to play Klean has been doing a bunch of videos on it lately; check those out if you want to see gameplay of SPT with several of the above mods.
Nobody trusts bsg anymore, and you can check streaming views have dropped by atleast half since the unheard fiasco, honestly I don’t know how streamers still make a living out of these games….

So instead of cheaters stealing the loot we have Ai raider aimbotting pmc's setting up ambushes stealing the loot.. interesting. Might as well let the cheaters play. I dont mind the Ai roaming, or even the ambushes, but the loot being slurped up by the Ai is just terrible. Now they will even extract off the map when they have enough too.. So you just miss out all together. I suppose its time to extract camp PVE mode so the Ai can't take the loot out. Not sure Im a fan of this at all. If they loot the items and remain in game to fight then I am ok with it. They are already perfect shots with SUPER enhanced visibility range that can laser beam you 150m out with pst. They shouldn't be leaving the game with valuable loot.
Why don't they just make the ai scavs so that they can see through bushes and know exactly where you are , throw nades that land at your feet so you have no time to react , give them aimbots that get through the cacks in your armor ..that way no one will care about the cheaters .. oh the ai scavs are already like this , never mind
Cheater compensation should have been common sense from the start. It better be 5mil roubles at least with how much time it takes to do a raid. Not everyone has 2-3 hours to play every day like most of these degenerate losers.

I came back to tark for a brief stint to test my new pc. Next gen. 4080 super. 32 gigs 6000 MHZ ram and a i914900KS. And the game felt so clunky even at 130+ fps. I guess after so many thousands of hours of just playing tark I didn’t realize how unbelievably poorly optimized it was. ABO ruined tarkov for me 😂😂 can’t wait for it to be back.

The scavs backpacks are full of loot now! even in pvp
I thought I killed a group of player scavs with all the loot they had in their bags!
Quality of life upgrades and surveys? Seems like Arena Breakout had a good influence.

theyve been stealing ideas for years from spt lol, armor plates for example, map to map travel has been over there forever too

My pc usually takes 2+ minutes for loading loot alone. PVE solo took me at max 40 seconds for EVERYTHING

So they copied they SPT mods and put them in the game. Totally didn't see that coming at all /s. The reason why they have to use servers for streets is because of client performance problems.

Doesn’t bother me honestly. I’m enjoying PVE after this update. Lots more action, AI PMCs sometimes have some good backpack loot now too.

they made the pmc ai broken, triple head tapped from across lumber but a pmc hiding in the trees that i couldn't see on woods by sa-58 m80 ammo. i stopped playing pvp because of this and now the ai aim bot you anyway.
Try SPT-AKI with SAIN, Looting Bots, Questing Bots, and other required mods like Big Brain. I run those with the Realism mod, Fontaine’s FOV Fix, Borkel’s Realistic NVGs, and Backdoor Bandit. More Checkmarks, and Swag+Donuts (allows the player to configure bot spawning) are also good options. There’s mods to alter (or remove) the raid timer, add new weapons, traders, tasks, customization options (clothing, weapon paint), map-to-map travel, gore, etc. as well.
IMO it’s far better than the base game, and it’s basically all I play now. You might like it if you give it a shot. You can configure literally almost everything as well if there’s stuff you don’t like, so you can tailor the game to exactly how you want it to play
Klean has been doing a bunch of videos on it lately; check those out if you want to see gameplay of SPT with several of the above mods.

So instead of cheaters stealing the loot we have Ai raider aimbotting pmc's setting up ambushes stealing the loot.. interesting. Might as well let the cheaters play. I dont mind the Ai roaming, or even the ambushes, but the loot being slurped up by the Ai is just terrible. Now they will even extract off the map when they have enough too.. So you just miss out all together. I suppose its time to extract camp PVE mode so the Ai can't take the loot out. Not sure Im a fan of this at all. If they loot the items and remain in game to fight then I am ok with it. They are already perfect shots with SUPER enhanced visibility range that can laser beam you 150m out with pst. They shouldn't be leaving the game with valuable loot.
Why don't they just make the ai scavs so that they can see through bushes and know exactly where you are , throw nades that land at your feet so you have no time to react , give them aimbots that get through the cacks in your armor ..that way no one will care about the cheaters .. oh the ai scavs are already like this , never mind
Another thing if the scavs swap to grenades it would be more exciting to not hear that action

Cheater compensation should have been common sense from the start. It better be 5mil roubles at least with how much time it takes to do a raid. Not everyone has 2-3 hours to play every day like most of these degenerate losers.

In pve the scavs come runing after they hear shots or yell . It like a wave of them you should try it first in offline pve before you jump in a pve match
just play arena when it comes out, these guys don't care about cheaters at all

I came back to tark for a brief stint to test my new pc. Next gen. 4080 super. 32 gigs 6000 MHZ ram and a i914900KS. And the game felt so clunky even at 130+ fps. I guess after so many thousands of hours of just playing tark I didn’t realize how unbelievably poorly optimized it was. ABO ruined tarkov for me 😂😂 can’t wait for it to be back.
